You are 100 times more likely to be abused by a step parent than by a biological parent

According to Jordan Peterson
What do you think? Personally I agree with this on the whole of course there are exceptions but as a whole

@DonorConceivedMe - ah I see. So the OP was still wrong as she wrote 'abused'. I agree the statistic you quote is relevant, it is based on a large, robust data set and is the ramblings of a right wing, misogynistic YouTube 'psychologist' which was OP's data source. Murder is a different and more extreme question. After all the best way to avoid being murdered is to never live with a man, yet we all do it.

I don't know about the economic thing. I mean, why wouldn't you prioritise your own kids? Presumably the step children are prioritised by their biological parent(s) and spring, theoretically not losing out? Although that could in fact be nonsense, my own stepmother wouldn't let my dad buy me shoes and my mother couldn't afford them...
But her son had everything :-( Maybe I'll phone the old witch and tell her she was in fact, abusive.

What happens when the step parent has no biological kids though?
