I once ordered something from Amazon that was delivered the same day. There was massive excitement in our household as we live in the arse end of nowhere and such a thing was beyond our imagination. It wasn't gin though. I think it was a book. Tbh I have a plentiful supply of gin under my kitchen sink! No excuse for a lack of gin.

No way I’d get that here (Channel Islands). We get prime but 2 day delivery instead of same or next day. Waaaaaa

As long as you don't order on Sunday, you can get home delivery of alcohol. Also, Instacart can do home delivery from Specs and all the major grocery chains.

Unsurprisingly, it's not available in my village. But then we don't have anyone that delivers, no deliveroo, no just eat, nothing.

No pub, and the chippy is open until 7:30 Friday and Saturday only. 😭

I was given the option of free same day delivery for some picture hooks I ordered earlier and I can’t begin to fathom how there could possibly be any profit on a £2.99 parcel, picked and delivered within a couple of hours.

Where dd lives she can order from the co op and. A little robot turns up at her door, wishes her good evening as she takes her goods and scuttles off up the road again. Now if I had that I’d be ordering daily.
