Nothing like that here but we also still don't have Uber, UberEats or Deliveroo.

The local shop does deliver but they only put their most expensive drinks on the app and it's literally a minute's walk from my house anyway.

Living in Darkest Peru aka NE Scotland, we get nothing! No same day delivery, sometimes next day arrives on time, no just eat, in fact no takeaway delivery at all where I stay. You'd think i lived in the back of beyond, but i live 15 mins away from a fair sized city. Which couriers like to think is actually in the highlands (it's not!!) and either refuse to deliver or charge a kings ransom. I'd love, just once, to have a Chinese delivered to my door!

I love Prine Now, I use it regularly when I cant be arsed to walk approx 3 mins to sainsbury's! I just stock up on basics like loo roll and toothpaste to get free delivery, or heavy things like flour to save me lifting them in and out the car, it's awesome!

DH has just informed me he helpfully put the meat for tonight's dinner in the freezer. I may have to investigate this!! Alternative dinner will be chocolate and Prosecco looking at the contents of my fridge!

I'm not sure where in Texas you live but if you're in the vicinity of a Total Wine store, you can get spirits delivered with a two-hour delivery window!

How do you know if you’re in a 2 delivery zone? Is it just on certain items? I’ve never seen it as a delivery option.

VivaLeBeaver it's "Amazon Prime Now" that deliver within an hour or 2 rather than the usual amazon service, Google " Amazon Prime Now" and check if its available in your area.

I once did this and the Amazon man was at my door within 15 mins with the gin (and Jaffa cakes)

I resisted kissing him, but it was tough!
