Herbal tea that doesnt taste like I've wiped my arse with an old dish cloth then distilled it in puddle water for 3 days?

Anyway I vaguely recall finding some tolerable citrus herbal tea last year then promptly switched back to coffees after my virtue ran out.

Can anyone recommend a nice herbal tea?

Aldis peppermint and twinning chamomile are lovely.

What's the point if you don't like them?! Just don't drink them!

Knightsbridge tea in Lidl - they do a peach and raspberry (orangy coloured box) which is as close to Celestial teas as I have found. Also Pear and Apple is nice, and there is a red fruits which is even stronger tasting. And it's 80p a box! Way nicer than the Twinings rubbish.

The Liquorice and Peppermint had good flavour but I'm not sure if I liked it, if that makes sense. It was very sweet and didn't give off that pond water flavour. Unfortunately I accidentally bought two boxes!

Pukka night time tea is really lovely, definitely a keeper.

Still looking for a suitable day time drink!

@GloGirl sadly they all taste basically as you described 😂😂 I have boiled water with lemon, and the odd time a spoon of honey if I want to avoid tea or coffee.

Or you could try Bovril??? Bovril I fear though might fit into your arsey dish cloth category - it is not to everyone's taste 😂

How about sweet osmanthus tea. It smells like apricots, the one I've got is made up of tiny yellow blossoms, I've no idea of the caffeine content or anything but I like it.
