10m old still no teeth and I'm panicking

My 10 month old DD2 still has no teeth and I can't feel anything coming through either.

From what I've read online it says late teethers are usually hereditary, but DD1 cut her first tooth at 6 months so can't be that.

I also read that it's common for babies with Down's syndrome to cut teeth late... despite having the harmony test done in pregnancy and downs coming up as negative, when DD2 was born the midwives thought she might have it and requested a doctor to confirm. When the neonatologist came to look at her we got the all-clear but it was such a worrying time that the thought has never left me so reading this has me worried. DD2 doesn't look particularly Downs and has hit all other milestones (sitting, cruising, "mama" "dada" etc.), it's just she is still all gums and I'm panicking something is wrong!!

What can I do to reassure myself? Anyone have any experience to share?

My identical twins were both 16 months old before they got their first teeth (and the back ones came through before the front ones!)
They were then late losing their milk teeth - the dentist said this was an advantage as it would make their 'adult'teeth stronger.
Apart from 'overcrowding' and subsequently having to wear a brace to space their teeth out, they have good teeth and have no fillings (they are now 17)
