10.5 too old for Sylvanian families?

DD 10 has requested a Sylvanian house for Christmas.
She has some bits and pieces from when she was younger but we never collected them.
She has a younger sister and they still play imaginatively together. But it is expensive and how long will she like it?!
Nice that she still wants to be a child though.

Last year when granddaughter was 9 I was surprised when she asked me for the Sylvainian house for her birthday
This year she didn’t know what she wanted..I asked if she wanted more of it but she didn’t
It seems to be something that she would play with with another girl around but not really on her own

I'm 45 and collect Jellycats.

Shatners, you are my kind of person. I love Jellycats. If I see them in a shop, I am compelled to go and stroke them. My teenage dd is a bit but she has bought me a few. I might start a proper collection!

Alexa And I'm a bloke too. My ex gave me one or two and I'm afraid I was hooked.

My girls still played with their Sylvanian Families at 10. I think they still played with them at 12, but not when their friends could see. It’s too fiddly a toy for little girls anyway.
