what is your favourite comfort food?

Mine is either crusty bread dipped in a marmite drink or fried eggs with mashed potato.

pasta al forno.
an aubergine thing my mum makes - either rice or quinoa, fried auergine, and grated cheese.
McDonalds in the car with DH
Eating at my nonnas

oh and tiramisu or my mum's blackberry and pear crumble or hazelnut and coffee gelato for pudding

Cheesy bread

Deep filled apple pie with cream

Soft boiled eggs mashed up in a mug with lots of salt and mayo - with white buttered toast

Donner kebab with salad and mayo. My go to treat after a stressful day.

Heinz tomato soup with a cheese toastie to dip in

Cheese & biscuits

Cheap white bread toast with lashings of butter

Sticky toffee pudding with creme fraiche.

Cheese and ham toastie.
Mashed potatoes with grated cheese.
Bacon buttie on soft white bread with mayo and brown sauce.

What’s mock crab?

Baked potato soup with cheese and bacon

Pasta with cheese grated on top (student food).
Toast and marmite.
Crumpets with butter.
Macaroni Cheese.
Cauliflower Cheese.

Mashed up boiled eggs, cheese and tinned tomatoes.

Chilli

Cheese on toast topped with a poached egg. My mam used to make it after any illness to build us back up (we were skinny kids).

Soup with nice bread and proper butter

Lunch: Fish finger sandwich

Dinner: Macaroni cheese with finely chopped crispy smoked streaky bacon and finely sliced sauteed leeks added to it.

Eggy fried bread and bacon or a cheese toastie. Oh and pate on toast.

Crusty white bread toast with salty butter and bitter marmalade or hot white rolls with butter and ginger jam.

Brocolli and cauliflower cheese.

Porridge and banana.

Basically cheese

Rib-eye steak with mayonnaise. Or if it's too close to payday to afford that, I would choose a baked potato with a fried egg and lots of salted butter :)
