Mine are:

Managers saying 'can you just quickly...? and it taking half a day

Faffy work colleagues

Lazy people who don't pull their weight

People who ask pointless questions or talk non stop when you're busy

Stressed our managers

And people who print 100 page documents on the only working printer, forcing you to wait when you only have a page

People who make noise just for the sake of it. For example, if a phone goes off or a laptop sounds a little tone, they imitate it. Or singing random snatches of songs. Really annoying and inconsiderate.

cheeseislife8 · 18/11/2019 20:11

Cooking stinky food in the staff kitchen

"Before you go..."

Babyroobs · 18/11/2019 20:11

Lazy colleagues, colleagues talking over me in Gujarati, people not washing up their dirty mugs, people stinking of smoke etc. And no -one else ever taking the post.

LadySlipper · 18/11/2019 20:14

When a co-worker installs a webcam in our big shared office, unbeknownst to the rest of us, then goes off on pretend sick leave and spies on us all.

megletthesecond · 18/11/2019 20:15

People who leave random stuff on my desk without a heads up about why they couldn't resolve it or a post it note saying who it's from. Mind reader am I Hmm.

lljkk · 18/11/2019 20:16

"I'm not telling you how to do this" - but I'll be fairly cross if you don't do it my way

(sigh)

Reachedsohigh · 18/11/2019 20:17

Nobody loads (or unloads) the dishwasher, leave their filthy, greasy bowls and plates in the sink instead.
Nobody, apart from 2 of us, buys milk, ever. They do, however, complain when there isn't any for their bloody cereal. I've even had people using my milk that I buy to take home and leave in a carrier bag in the fridge because 'if it's in the fridge it belongs to the office' - I wonder if that applies to sandwiches and lunches brought in as well?
Mainly kitchen/drinks issues 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Jojo19834 · 18/11/2019 20:20

When I have my coat on, bag lifted, train to catch and as you say goodnight someone catches your eye and points to their screen about something they can’t deal with. Pick your time, now is not it, and you will get told that!

NoHummus · 18/11/2019 20:21

People chatting for ages about non-work stuff in an otherwise silent office. Just go to the break room!

NatashaAlianovaRomanova · 18/11/2019 20:26

People not dealing with calls from their own clients resulting in a 3 way conversation between the receptionist, the client & the account manager... just speak to them yourself FFS!

One colleague not realising that you do more than one task therefore no you cannot do this specific task for their client right this minute because you're working on something completely unrelated... send me an email & I'll add it to my task file & do it on Tuesday morning which is my allocated time for this task.

The same colleague sending an email with half the information required to complete the bloody task.

A different colleague constantly showing pictures/videos of their toddler children doing unremarkable crap... I'm not that interested in my own kids unremarkable crap so I certainly don't want to see theirs!

wineisnecessary · 18/11/2019 20:39

Currently my supervisor doing my job for me or telling me how to do my job that I've been doing for many years . I'm more than happy to take direction but it's little things like emails we have a shared box so oh you need to reply and say such and such yes I've done that now go away. Angry

Sunnysidegold · 18/11/2019 20:43

Debbie Downers. Where everything has to be an issue. She can't just get on with her job. Not enough staff toilets. So I waste my precious lunch time queuing for a loo.

Thecrown3 · 18/11/2019 20:52

Abuse from the public..... whom 5 minutes later want or need your help ...

Whoopstheregomyinsides · 18/11/2019 20:55

People who don’t wash up. And steal my marmalade

JapaneseBirdPainting · 18/11/2019 20:56

Lazy colleague who is also an amateur photographer who like today when I am On The Phone with a difficult client comes over to me and thrusts her fucking iphone in my face and says; 'Look at this picture i took at the weekend of swans'.

I wish I were joking.

FeckaDecka · 18/11/2019 21:01

Rude managers who get paid to deal with shit, then moan, are rude and generally unpleasant and unapproachable.... incompetent springs to mind!

slug · 18/11/2019 21:04

Colleagues who don't act like adults and forget that they are paid for doing a job. So many of them seem to forget the work part of the contract.

EskewedBeef · 18/11/2019 21:12

Unnecessary noise for me too. Singing especially, because it's impossible to shut fucking Trish out when she launches into the same couple of lines of Jerusalem for the 200th time. We had London Bridge on loop today Hmm.

inwood · 18/11/2019 21:13

I know you're on lunch but...

Msgiggles30 · 18/11/2019 21:17

People who constantly moan and make comments like wish we could have an early finish when they work at least 15 hours less than you and finish mid afternoon - I know this is slightly my own resentment! They also then proceed to moan about pay again whilst working much less and having no responsibility.

Other bug bear is people coming in when sick and doing nothing. Either call in sick or if you choose to come in get on with it! I am a bit harsh though Blush and cant abide people huffing and puffing with thier hands in thier head the whole day being useless 😂

BobbinThreadbare123 · 18/11/2019 21:17

Yep, noise. Bloody old men whistling. It's like they reach a certain age and cannot do a task without the accompanying whistle. Most of the time this whistling is tuneless and shit.

Dinosforall · 18/11/2019 21:17

People who don't (know how to) mute their sodding Outlook alerts.

Randomers hotdesking in our area who use the phone at the top of their voice.

People who leave the toilets in a state.

EskewedBeef · 18/11/2019 21:17

Also, there's a manager who will say things like, "Do you need a lunch break today, or...?" and, "Are you having to leave on time tonight, or...?" They obviously hope you're not going to act like a human with basic needs, but they daren't be direct about their wishes Hmm

managedmis · 18/11/2019 21:18

People randomly showing up, asking for shit

Msgiggles30 · 18/11/2019 21:19

*head in thier hands!
