What book series might my nearly 9yo like?

Dd is nearly 9. Loves Wimpy Kid, Tom Gates and Harry Potter but says she would like to try something else before moving on to next HP (she is halfway through book 4). She likes books that are in series rather than one offs, and she has not liked Roald Dahl at all and is a bit meh about David Walliams. All suggestions welcome please

The Who Let The Gods Out series by Maz Evans is great. There are some good books for year 5 suggestions on the school reading list site.

My DD loved the How to Train your Dragon books. Also Harry Potter series and Wizard of Once. Just bought the first series of Warriors books as she loves cats!

Diamond Brothers detective agency - great play on classic titles!

I'd suggest:

The Looking Glass Wars series by Frank Beddor
His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman
Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis
Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer
Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman

Alongside Harry Potter these were some of my favourite books when I was her age to mid teens. In all honesty I can't wait to read them with my son when he's old enough (4 months is a bit young 😂)

Just wanted to second Who Let The God's Out, it's really funny. It's a series of four books, my DS loves them and so do I!

He's 9 and sounds at a similar level OP - he's read the first 3 HP books, and got a bit of a way through the fourth but is now taking a break.

I loved Five Find Outers as a kid and still do, but DS hasn't taken to them, sadly for me. He enjoyed the Secret Seven series though (the audible versions are good too, read by Sarah Greene from Blue Peter!).

Mysterious Benedict Society was a favourite of my kids. Exciting but not too scary for bedtime!
