I love this house. LOVE it. Its in a nice town, its big but not too big, its not stuck in the middle of nowhere, the decor is cosy and just on the non-bland side of neutral

I love it

Given the way virtually all the photos for the castle are of small details, you can bet the actual rooms are pretty crap. As it was converted to a nursing home at one point I suspect they're pretty utilitarian and you'd have to gut the place to get it back to a good standard.

ControversialFerret · 08/11/2019 20:49

Nice but it's really overlooked, which would put me off. That and the crazy prize (Northerner)!

ControversialFerret · 08/11/2019 20:50

Prize? Price!

Sickoffamilydrama · 08/11/2019 20:52

Love the dark accents they've decorated this with

Swishy that house whilst isn't terrible is a bit depressing not sure if it's just the décor though and in fairness our house when we moved in was not the best.

Sickoffamilydrama · 08/11/2019 20:59

Think I'd have to do more than dig down the back of the sofa for this one.

I'm a big fan of Primrose Hill as a place to live.

This place may be a little above my budget though...

Wizzbangpop · 08/11/2019 21:09

Is the wine included in the price of the primrose hill one ?

My favourite is the Scottish castle

Sickoffamilydrama · 08/11/2019 21:15

Now I've started I can't stop. My mum grow up near here the views are stunning.

5BlueHydrangea · 08/11/2019 21:18

The Primrose hill one doesn't even have a pool! I'd want several for that price..

EmmaC78 · 08/11/2019 21:21

The Scottish castle is about 15 mins from me and the area is not that great which explains the price.

Ostanovka · 08/11/2019 21:34

An actual castle for 650?!!

feelinghelplesstoday · 08/11/2019 21:48

@JoJoSM2 the Lingfield one is not bad. I pass it on my daily dog walk. It's about 200m back from train line and trains almost stopped in and out of station tho. Yes planes going in to Gatwick but it's on no through road next to field of cows. Lingfield is a nice village

Fridaynightfuntime · 08/11/2019 22:50

Surely the castle is cheap as chips because of the god awful gothic decor!

I don’t know if a field in the middle of nowhere can be rough Grin

MrsEricBana · 08/11/2019 22:58

The Primrose Hill one made me 😲 (but I'd still rather live here)

HoppyHop · 08/11/2019 23:15

Up north? Ash Lane, Ollerton, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16

Yeah Gods the Callis Court Road one looks like a tarted up Science block of a school !

Cherrysoup · 08/11/2019 23:51

The castle-ex care home, so someone probably died in every room. Loving the lack of pics of any rooms!

RhinoskinhaveI · 08/11/2019 23:55

OMG
That castle!!
😍😍😍

ActualHornist · 08/11/2019 23:57

I like it a lot but it’s odd there’s only one crap picture of the kitchen.

Hushabyelullaby · 09/11/2019 00:10

this not far from me

PickAChew · 09/11/2019 00:15

Durham City has some very expensive bits. We don't live the the very expensive bits!

Fluffiest · 09/11/2019 00:26

Oh Hushabye that is a proper cluedo house! If you lived there you would have to host dinner parties on stormy nights for a good old murder that would be solved the next day by a savy old lady.
