A bag that you poke inside an attached pouch/bag to keep in your handbag

Have I said 'bag' enough times, do you think?

I am looking for one of these. A little bag that I can keep in my handbag in case I make purchases. But not one that you have to fold tidily. one that you can sort of poke into a little pouch that is part of the bag.

I've had this one where you push the bag into the sheep for a few years, but I am looking for a more grown up one with a nicer pattern.

I have this one from Ikea.

I keep it in my handbag. It's really spacious and strong.

Primark do them

envirosax are great.I have a couple. They fold up on themselves and weigh next to nothing. The handle is big enough to go over your shoulder.

My Sainsbury's one does this, although I usually fold it anyway as it fits easier. But it folds into its own pocket and would definitely still fit if i scrunched it.

I've got a JL one. You can actually fit a toddler and a weekly shop inside it when it opens out Grin
Well not quite but it is huge but stuff inside it's ouch nicely! Another reason I like it is I can get the "stuff DH need not know about" past him. Winner.

Waitrose have their own designs. I have a Christmas one from last year.

MinesaPinot · 06/11/2019 14:02

I got mine in Aldi, and it goes over my shoulder.

Actually I could do with another one...

I manage to scrunch my Oxfam ones up into the pouch without folding and love the fact they are from recycled saris. Give it a wash first to remove any starch etc it will soften up. Alternative Waitrose, wilko and m&s have ones that scrunch into the corner then you pull the drawstring tight.

Ps n9e on Amazon to buy one like your old one

OJZJ · 14/11/2019 20:37

Oh actually Primark do them but they arnt that great

I got a Kevin the Carrot bag from Aldi. I think they have them at Christmas time. Its brilliant, tucks into a tiny drawstring pouch. A decent sized, sturdy shopping bag too. 😊🥕

I have a Kipling bag (similar to this) which has handy pouches at the front where I put my collapsible bags (I have a few Radley ones, which compress down really well)

Ooh those oxfam bags are beautiful, I have some little drawstring pouches made from saris for keeping a spare set of clothes for DD in my bag. They are very strong for how light they are.

Another Ikea bag fan here, brilliant.

National Trust ones are lovely (& made from recycled plastic bottles too!)
