Just that - how much do you weigh if you're 5 foot or thereabouts?

OP posts:
TryingToDrinkMoreWater · 26/10/2019 21:12

5'1" 7 stone 12. Size 8-10. I'm small framed And pear shaped.

boredboredandmorebored · 26/10/2019 21:33

@blobbythelump can I ask what shape you are? I'm a pear shape and at 5 foot I'm 6 stone 13 but trying to get more round your weight. I'm small on top but so big on bottom still! Do you diet or exercise? I just can't seem to go below 6 stone 13!! I'm size 6 on top but 8/10 on bottom

boredboredandmorebored · 26/10/2019 21:36

@suebnm same question to you, do you actively diet and exercise? What shape are you? I really want to get to your weight but can't shift the last few pounds

I'm 5 foot 2 and 10 stone, generally a size 10. Usually between 9 and 9 and a half but had my ds 3 months ago, so still losing baby weight.

LLMD · 26/10/2019 21:41

I’m 5”1 and 10 stone.

I need to lose at least 1.5 stone to be in a healthy weight I think.

But I’m 13 weeks pp so not worrying about it too much yet!

Maybe after Christmas... Hmm

thewalrus · 26/10/2019 22:59

5 ft, 8 stone, small build, usually size 10, sometimes 8 on top. I'm quite strong and reasonably happy. Exercise well, but eat what I like.

Bunnylady53 · 26/10/2019 23:06

5ft 2” & 10 stone 10 ( I was 11 stone but just had noro 😢). At my heaviest I was 13 stone & looked dreadful. Around a year ago I had got down to 9 stone & a size 14. Started drinking again & ballooned. I have quit booze & would be happy to lose just over a stone this time. I have wide shoulders & hips so will never be a skinny minny

Dramaofallama · 27/10/2019 01:04

Currently pregnant but previously I weighed 8 stone (size 6-8) and I am 5ft 2.
I use to weigh around 6st 13 (hated it on myself) but took up weightlifting which made me gain.

Jupiters · 27/10/2019 03:46

I'm 5"1 and about 11 stone, I wear a size 12 generally. I'm definitely top heavy. I wouldn't mind losing a few pounds but also I do a reasonable amount of exercise.
Oddly enough I once managed to get down to 9st3 and it really didn't suit me...I had lots of people commenting that I looked ill. I guess different people carry weight in different ways, as most people on this thread seem to be 9st or below!

Rainatnight · 27/10/2019 03:52

Hi OP, why do you think you need to lose weight? I’m five feet and used to be your weight, and then blobby’s weight, which was really quite thin (I wasn’t very happy. I’m not saying that’s the case in blobby’s case cos her build sounds a lot smaller than mine).

Is there anything else going on for you at the moment?

Snowflake9 · 27/10/2019 04:28

5ft 1 7stone 4lb

IamWaggingBrenda · 27/10/2019 05:05

5 feet exactly and 6 stone, 12 lb

OhJustElfOff · 27/10/2019 07:24

5 2 and 9 stone 11 but usually size 8-10. My height/weight vs clothes size has come up on here before with no one believing me though. I look extremely thin if I approach 8 stone and really believe that weight distribution and muscle mass makes a big difference so comparisons are very difficult. In saying that I look much better at 9 stone.

OldGrinch · 27/10/2019 07:29

I am 5ft exactly and weigh 8 stone 10 pounds. Pre menopause I was a stone lighter and wore 6/8 clothing now wear 10.

suchsweetsorrow82 · 27/10/2019 07:33

5ft exactly.

Current weight 9st 5lb - Size 10 on bottom/size 8 on top. Currently loosing weight - goal weight is 8st 10lb (have lost 23lb so far)

Lowest weight - 7st 10lb - size 6 on bottom/size 4 on top - thought I looked amazing at the time but looking back too skinny

Highest weight - 11st pp 2nd child. Size 12 on top/Size 14 on bottom. Obese BMI, felt very unhealthy and looked so big !

suchsweetsorrow82 · 27/10/2019 07:34

Losing Blush

getmeacupoftea · 27/10/2019 07:48

I'm 5ft 1 and I'm about 10 and half stone! I'm a uk size 12 however.

I think I look a bit podgy but not obese like my BMI says I am. For some reason I have always held a stone more than other short people even though our body shapes are similar.

I do have thunderous thighs though 🤣

Funlovingpastacat · 27/10/2019 07:59

OP do you have an ED? Out of 60 replies you'll see there are a variety of shapes and weights on here for a similar height, and yet you've zoned in on(and replied to) the 2 very lightest.

Suebnm · 27/10/2019 08:05

@boredboredandmorebored

I don't think my story would be helpful to you. I had a very severe accident which left me with no legs and I just lost all hope and stopped eating. I am much better now but still have to be tube fed. I was always on the light side.

roses2 · 27/10/2019 08:14

I'm 5ft and weigh 50kg. Used to be 47kg pre kids. 50kg is about 7.8 stone.

I am size 6/8 in M&S and Next

Wouldn't mind loosing 2kg but I love my food too much

Sexnotgender · 27/10/2019 08:17

You sound like me @getmeacupoftea

I’m same height and size though I’m 10st 2. I am also thunderous of thigh after years of playing sport.

BrokenBrit · 27/10/2019 08:23

5ft 1 and 10.5 stones
I have always been around 9 stone which was great for me until I started a medication which piled the weight on to 11stone. I am now off it and struggling to get back to where I was.

getmeacupoftea · 27/10/2019 08:23

@Sexnotgender

Glad someone feels the same as I!
I took up running to lose weight but I've actually ended up putting on these beefy running thighs. I think even if I lost another 2 stone I will always look "stocky" 🤣

Ithinkwerealonenowtiffany · 27/10/2019 08:25

5’1” and weigh 8st 3.

Ithinkwerealonenowtiffany · 27/10/2019 08:26

Oh and i run a lot and my legs resemble a blokes. Its an odd look.
