I have a mixer and food processor. Saved up for them both, coveted then for years but use them for bugger all!

I hear people say they use theirs all the time but for WHAT?

Mashed potatoes in my kitchen aid

Kenwood chef - cherry Bakewell steamed pudding (yesterday)
Braun stick blender - Mediterranean veg soup (today)

Both items got cooked in my instant pot btw.

Used my kitchenaid mixer yesterday to bake a large celebration cake , 24 cupcakes and buttercream to decorate all of the above. This is a well used appliance and was well worth the money.

Food processor used last week to make Jamie Oliver's green Mac and cheese recipe and also used it recently to grate carrots for a carrot cake ( have to admit that before that I hadn't used it for about a year)

@UnaOfStormhold I bought a crock pot express after reading posts about it and the Instant pot on here. I honestly don't know how I ever managed without it. Sometimes wish I had two of them.

I use my fancy blender to blitz tomato sauce and occasionally to make breadcrumbs.

DH uses my fancy mixer to make bread. I last used it to make waffles.

Christmas cake two weeks ago. It will probably do banana bread today.

I used my blender to make hummus, basil pesto, sundried tomato pesto, and soup most recently. And I use it a few mornings a week to make a breakfast smoothie. I also use it to chop veg as it has as chop as well as a grind function so it gets used for a lot of homemade dinners.

Used the mixer to make Malteser truffle blondies (they are amazing) and carrot cake last week.
Going to be using it for banana bread and hazelnut chocolate cookies this week.

I'm actually embarrassed as to how little kitchen action goes on in my house 🙈

On the back of this thread I've just bid on and won a vintage (working!) kenwood chef, for £21. Collecting today- I'm very excited!! Cake this afternoon me thinks!

I've made a curry paste marinade in mine today.
Tomorrow, I'm going to be making a pumpkin spiced loaf and a batch of epic indulgent cookies. The problem is, when I bake, I then have ALL the baked goods to eat. It's a dangerous hobby.

Used yesterday to make Welsh cakes

Kenwood Chef - Cinnamon buns last weekend. Brownies the weekend before, nothing this week as I am home alone and don't want to eat cake all week!

I use the liquidiser on it all the time for soups. Rarely use the food processor bit unless I am cooking for more than just me and DD.

I used my kenwood mixer yesterday to make a Christmas cake. Last weekend I made babka.

My most used kitchen gadget it a mini chopper - I use it daily for veggies, pesto, garlic, raita etc. It must have saved me hours and hours!

Made a crumble yesterday. Need to make my Christmas cake which planned on doing this weekend but ran out of time so next weekend it is.
Regularly use it for making pizza dough couple times a month and or general baking mabey 3 -4 times a month. Depends on mood and weather or not it seems to be bake sale season.
