Just over a year, we've just celebrated our 21 wedding anniversary

TinklyLittleLaugh · 20/10/2019 23:14

3 years. But friends for a couple of years before we got together.

Babyiwantabump · 20/10/2019 23:15

6 years - now been together 12

Harvey3 · 20/10/2019 23:18

6 years, married for 2.5 of them

Heartofglass12345 · 20/10/2019 23:18

We went on our first date the beginning of May, became official around the end of June. Got engaged beginning of September and I was pregnant by the beginning of November. We got married the beginning of May the year after and our son was born a week later!
We've been together 7.5 years now and married for 6.5 with another son who is nearly 4 Smile
I think our ages made a difference though, I was 28 and he was 35 when our first son was born. If I had been any younger I would have waited as I wasn't ready to have children.

OhMyDarling · 20/10/2019 23:20

3 yrs

Crunchymum · 20/10/2019 23:21

7 years here too. Seems to be popular?? Grin

ActualHornist · 20/10/2019 23:52

About 5 years.

ActualHornist · 20/10/2019 23:53

I’m actually utterly shocked - we’ve been together for 15 years and married for 7. How the hell have I got this old without realising?!

Pleco28 · 21/10/2019 00:01

6 weeks lol now together 11 years married and another two

Threeminis · 21/10/2019 00:06

toomuchisneverenough · 21/10/2019 00:58

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 21/10/2019 01:03

DS due next month, we'll be 9 years together, 5 years married.

Elbowedout · 21/10/2019 01:27

We'd been together for 8 years and married for nearly 6 when DD1 was born.

Megan2018 · 21/10/2019 02:00

6 years. Met at 35 and baby born at 41 (conceived at 40). We moved in together very quickly (6 weeks) and got engaged after 4 months and married a year later. But took our time before deciding to try for a baby despite being older.
I was prepared to take my chances on marriage but not with a baby as can’t be undone!

icantgetnosleep8 · 21/10/2019 02:55

5 years

Seahorseshoe · 21/10/2019 02:57

8 years. 7 before we got married. We were young and there was no rush.

FionaOgre · 21/10/2019 03:06

Two years. Took me 10 years to get him down the aisle though.

Kinsters · 21/10/2019 04:36

It'll have been 8.5 years when our first baby is born next year. We met at university so no biological clocks ticking.

broomzoom · 21/10/2019 05:03

Met at uni, was pretty sure he was the one but no point rushing things as I knew 20s would be focused on careers.
Married at 28 & DC1 at 30 so 12 years later, wasn't ready for them any younger.
Still together with another DC now.

whiteroseredrose · 21/10/2019 05:08

4 years. DS was born less than a year after we married.

Biological clock definitely ticking so we thought it would take ages but it didn't!

Nextphonewontbesamsung · 21/10/2019 05:11

9 years.

user1573334 · 21/10/2019 05:13

Pregnant with a contraceptive failure baby about 9/10 months in. 8 years and one more child later and I wouldn't say it was 'blissful' but still together.

Bickles · 21/10/2019 05:53

9 years, married 6. DS took a lot of getting though!

queenofmycastlex · 21/10/2019 06:31

7 years, married almost 4
