How long were you with your partner before you had a baby?

Just that really - curious!

4 years.

No idea how long we'd been together but had been living together around 3 years. Got married in first trimester of first pregnancy.

7 years (married for 4 years)

Almost 13 years - second was at 16.5 years ... together 24 years ... so far ...

7.5 years. I thought that was enough and I knew him but that turned out to be wrong. He was offered a good career opportunity and suddenly my equal partner who wanted to be an involved parent was too busy and dumped all the childcare on me so I had to give up my career. I thought he’d be a good parent but he’s strict and intolerant and doesn’t do his share. I guess you never really know what someone will be like.

Together for 7.5 years, married for nearly 4. I did miscarry twice in the first year after getting married though.

Been together 20yrs now.

9 months 🙈 pregnant within the first week (genuine contraception failure would anyone believe!)

We’ve now been together 8 years, married for nearly 6 years and have 3 children 😊

Not even a proper couple yet. Contraception failure. 3 years on and everything is great and we are getting married.

9 months. By the time we hit two years together, we were 8 months married with a 5 month old.

12 years. But we were only students when we got together.

5 years. But my friend was with her then bf 11 months when baby1 was born. They’re still together 12 years later.

I got pregnant after 3 months with our first.

Today is our 12 year anniversary. DS1 is 11 in 8 days.

I’d been with XH for 3 and a half years when DS was born.

I was with DD’s dad for a year before we started trying but by the time she was born we’d been together for 6 and a half years

I had known him for roughly 10 yrs (FWB's)

found out I was pregnant 2.5 months after first meeting.

11 months in due to contraceptive failure. Been together 7 years now and very happy.
