Recommend me a very small 5 door car!

We live in an area with mostly single track lanes and I’ve scraped our current car too many times (Vauxhall Mokka) so I need to downsize Blush

I love little Fiat 500s and Mini Coopers but really need 5 doors for my DC. Can anyone recommend a small, economical 5 door car? I do well under 10k miles a year and always short trips (use car daily however).
It would be great to get something even slightly stylish like the Fiat or Mini but can’t seem to find a five door equivalent?!

Any ideas welcome!

Saw a man and woman in this. I had to laugh, he was about to drive and she was in the back
I just couldn’t go there

Also the Mii has a reasonable boot. It can take a buggy (I've tried it with a Maclaren Techno, BJCM, Mamas and Papas Pliko, Mamas and Papas Armadillo XT, Bugaboo Bee and Cameleon) and it will also take a couple of bags of shopping as well. Without the buggy we managed to get our entire Christmas and NY food shop in there for a family of 7.

Dd collected me and newborn ds from hospital..
We definitely did not post the cat seat in via the boot of her Fiat 500.
And ds was most definitely not in the seat at the time....

I've got a 5 door ford fusion and I love it. Grin

The Kia Picanto is a great little 5 foot, feels quite roomy inside despite it being a small car.

Not a 5 foot 🤦🏼‍♀️ a 5 door ... don't you just love autocorrect Grin

Loads above I would suggest. But also a Nissan micra.
I have a mazda cx3 now. It's slightly higher but still pretty small. High spec gadgets . Suspension quite firm though. I do love it and it's very pretty.

I have. VW UP! It's great, easy to park, £20 road tax and very nippy. Easy to park too. 🚗

I have a Mitsubishi Mirage, it's great. I drive almost 50km a day for my commute and although it's a 1.2l engine it easily gets up to the speed limit. Plenty of space too.

Toyota Yaris if you found the 107 too small (as aygo the same size).

YY Fabia/buggy/narrow lanes is a good combo, trust me, it did it for years.

Solongtoshort · 20/10/2019 20:13

I can’t believe no one has said a Chevrolet matiz, l would so have another one if it was just a bit bigger.

Honda Jazz!

"Magic" seats,
Great turning circle,
Manoeuvrable,
Cheap to run,
Reliable,
Spacious inside

Teddyreddy · 20/10/2019 20:29

Another vote for the Honda Jazz, mine's coped fine with country lanes. Unlike my previous car (Vauxhall Corsa) it fits the buggy in the boot no problem, and rear passenger legroom is generous so good for fitting car seats on. It also has good visibility and good sized wing mirrors which do help with reversing....
