Does anyone know how to stop car accident compensation calls

I was involved in a car accident in April. Not my fault but very minor , car repaired . No injuries.

Anyway I keep getting calls from many different companies asking me to claim compensation. I have tried asking not to call again, telling them they have the wrong number . I block the number after calls . Today I was in bed not well woken by a call. I am completely pissed off with these calls . Is there any way to stop them .

I couldn’t turn my phone off as child at school btw.

I like to say ' oh no, it was my fault'. Cue stunned silence.

It’s the Civil Liability Act 2018 Listening. It’s complicated but if it works as intended will destroy the profit margins from small road traffic injury cases.

I get a lot of these from an accident I had 5 years ago. They always have the date if the accident so we're definitely given the information by someone. They even call from genuine numbers. I had a call one day and the man was so rude to me. I took the number and called it back. The poor man that answered me was from a printing company in Leeds. He said they had cloned his companies number somehow. I had one call me back 5 times after I told him to fuck off. I laughed every time he called me back. He soon gave up.
