I'm up because my LL knocked at 8:30am despite having agreed to 11am Hmm. This is the second time in two days he has ignored the time agreed & I am mightily pissed off about it.

The girls are sock on & will be for a while I imagine; we had a very late night watching films & eating sweets.

I might take advantage of the peace & either get out in the front garden for an hour or two again, or do some of the prep for next term at Guides. I'm not sure yet which I'll do, maybe another coffee will help me decide Grin

What about you lot? What are you up to? :)

Weather is awful here and I have soooo much washing 😩☔

PotterHead1985 · 31/08/2019 11:44

Lying in bed tossing every couple of minutes as the pain when I stay in one place for more than that is agony.

Contemplating my shite life with my health and its inability to give me one fucking day of peace.

Crunchymum · 31/08/2019 11:54

Lazy day here, had a very busy week (away for a few days, back for a night and then away for a few more days for a wedding!)

Kids are shattered and they go back to school next week.

DP is at work so I'm tackling the uniforms (washed but needs to be ironed) and I need to order some trousers for older DC and shoes for younger DC.

The house is a tip but I'm off next week and I'm going to have a blitz as soon as the older 2 are back to school, then it may stay clean for a day at least Shock

Mezze and movie for us adults later. And maybe some red wine Wine

@ssd good luck with your new job! Did you find anything good in the charity shops?

I need to look for something else I think.

Thanks! I found a black dressy looking cardi but I never seen any tops. I'll maybe go to primary and George at asda. Don't want to spend loads.

Primark had started getting some nice, longer length, blouses in when we were in there for school tights last week. I might go back for a second look depending whether my afternoon job continues or not when we go back next week.

It's all hands on dexk at the farm today. So I'm on baby entertaining and coffee duty while my partner is managing catering for the team.

Then after lunch it's off to an air show and i think we'll stop in at a nearby city and have a bite to eat before returning for baby bath and bed.

Then we'll sit out in the garden with a fire and a beer.

ssd · 31/08/2019 19:01

Thanks I'll check them out this week

Mammyloveswine · 07/09/2019 13:48

I did the great north 5k! Smashed my target by 5mins!

BishopFrownofStThigh · 07/09/2019 14:30

@PotterHead1985 oh pain like that is horrible, when you can't even sleep yo get a brief respite from it.

I take it painkillers don't even touch the sides?

BishopFrownofStThigh · 07/09/2019 14:30

I gobbled too much pasta and chocolate at lunch and now feel faintly queasy

PotterHead1985 · 07/09/2019 16:55

@BishopFrownofStThigh nope painkillers were no use. Now moping from the tooth extraction yesterday. Fml 😩
