Saturday morning, what are you up to today?

I'm up because my LL knocked at 8:30am despite having agreed to 11am . This is the second time in two days he has ignored the time agreed & I am mightily pissed off about it.

The girls are sock on & will be for a while I imagine; we had a very late night watching films & eating sweets.

I might take advantage of the peace & either get out in the front garden for an hour or two again, or do some of the prep for next term at Guides. I'm not sure yet which I'll do, maybe another coffee will help me decide

Dh and ds are at work, the two elder DD’s stayed out on sleepovers last night so it’s just me and 5yo dd this morning. We’re under a blanket on the sofa watching frozen at the moment and it’s so nice and peaceful. I’ve put some washing on and folded the dry stuff but that’s as energetic as I’ve got so far. My mum is coming at around 1pm and we’re off out to a local garden centre fun day this afternoon.

I’m in Australia, so my Saturday is coming to an end. I went to a nursery and grocery shopping and picked up a few odds and ends that have been missing from my new house. I had an unplanned late afternoon nap on my new couch, and now I’ve got a load of washing on, and I am sitting here procrastinating while I contemplate which part of the house to tidy first. I have guests coming next weekend and need to get most of it done this weekend. Ooof!

Errands. I'm just waiting for the washing machine to finish before pegging out on the line. Into town to pick up a few bits, drop some stuff off at the charity shop and the post office. Then back home to do a bit of tidying and cleaning. Then bake a cake for dh's birthday tomorrow.

I was up at 7. i walked the dogs and checked out the hedgerows to see if the blackberries were coming in. Now I am about to watch Swashbuckle with DS2. Then we are out at a local petting farm and soft play. I have already sorted our picnic. Then I am sorting out DC1 room and charity shopping as much as I can get away with. Then a 40th Birthday BBQ.

Unusually busy! Tomorrow will be a roast lunch and sorting out the house and garden. It's no wonder I am knackered every Monday!

We've a lot to do this weekend so I got up at 7 as we agreed wewould (OHs suggestion for the time) and he's just gone into the shower. He'll then need another poo before we go out so it'll be 12 before we're in town when he'll complain we got nothing achieved this morning.

DS and DH are going to London, FIL got back from the Phillipines a few days ago so they are going to visit.

I'm too poorly for a day out (hyperemisis) but will do a bit of tidying up and try to do an hour of university work.

Bought a new treadmill early this morn from Aldi&DD12 put it together for me(im proper shite at that kind of stuff)we tried to get it upstairs(only5steps) to rumpus but too heavy&gouged a deep hole in wall so its in entrance hall til mate helps me out lol ..i did 10ks on it watching tablet so its fine where it is😂
Currently binge watching uk shows on FoxtelIQ(im in Oz)..promised to buyDC dominoes for our movie later but not budging off couch til i have to..

Taking the dogs for a walk and then heading to a Pride festival with ds and dh. It’s a bit of a drive away but there’s the promise of crepes or other tempting food stalls once we arrive. Youngest starts college on Monday so this is our first end-of-school-hols weekend where we’ve been spared the rush for last minute school uniform items - bliss.

It's Saturday - so the usual weekly routine:
cleaning + laundry (me and DD); food shopping (DH + DS)
We need to adjust money matters, because DD starts uni and needs to apply for our version of student loan (means tested for DD and parents, reduced rate because she will be living at home). So I need to find our tax assessment for 2017 and other fun pieces of information.

Did park run with all 3 DC. They all ran a lot faster than me. It was lovely. Now at the shop having realised in horror that we have run out of coffee. I plan to read in the garden with a large coffee when I get back then do some gardening with DH.

We got back with the DC at 11.30pm last night so no one stirred until 8.30am which is unheard of here! I helped younger ones get their breakfast, washed up, put washing out and have been for a run.

Now sitting with a coffee thinking about whether to hoover the house before or after a shower (rock and roll!). I go back to work on Monday but kids don’t go back until Wednesday so need to make sure I’m ready for the week.

Toddler ds has me up at 6 today we're now chilling on sofa watching cars or as he calls it trains?? Eldest ds birthday on Monday so going to prep stuff later for that. Going to see my dad for lunch later and got food delivery coming later

I've had a big row with DH and both of us have taken our wedding rings off. He's taken the DCs to the park and I'm sitting in bed stewing. 😢

Came back from holiday last night so currently sitting on my sofa avoiding the masses of unpacking I need to tackle. I also have all the new school uniform to iron and put away, PE bags to pack and new shoes to waterproof. I start my new job on Monday so need to figure out what to wear.

Luckily I have a nail appointment this afternoon and a coffee with a friend later on. I'm not being very productive at all but at least I'll have a relaxing afternoon for once.

Woke up full of cold and feeling like death 😭😭🙀 got a 5k run next week and was due to go for a run

Beautiful last day of winter gear in NZ (16 degrees!). This morning was pancakes for breakfast and ballet with DD, followed by a quick stop for coffee and then watching her play Netball.

Dh and ds1 are little dots on the horizon, I’m taking the opportunity to have a break while ds2 naps in the buggy. Coming to the end of our week away and I’m flipping exhausted! (Thank god schools are back next week!)

Sunny here so far. Baby ds is napping, older DC are in their rooms, younger one is playing, older one is doing homework.. Hopefully.

I've just done the ironing and should be mopping, instead I'm going to have a cup of tea and MN.
Dh is out for a bike ride with some friends.

@SukiPutTheEarlGreyOn if that's leicester pride, I'd avoid driving anywhere near the city, it's really really busy normally on a Saturday but today with pride and also with a football match it's going to be grid locked.
There's various park and rides around the city though. Have a wonderful day.

Been up since 8. Went into town to get DS1's football kit for the new season then a quick coffee.

DH & DS1 are off to football today (left at 11 & not back till 8.30pm , happens far more than I'm happy with), so I have booked fun swimming for after lunch with DS2 & 3, plus DS2's bestie & his mum are coming. A bit annoyed as was told previously that fun sessions are free with their swimming lessons, but lady at desk today said they're not Thankfully I get in free as a carer for DS2 so not as dear as it could be. Will go for a Mcflurry/coffee after swimming.

Then home & boys will play in playroom while I try to check school uniforms etc. They start back on Thursday so have time to get extra bits if needed, but bought things before plus have handmedowns for smaller DC.

Tomorrow is football match for DH/DS1, but I think there's a play park where they are playing so will take the smaller Dses there. Weekends from now until Easter or later will be mainly dominated by football & I have to work round them with the others
