I like the 4 cheese ravioli, buy the Indian and Chinese meals when they have their £10 offer on, plus there's a few other bits and pieces I buy.

I never understand though why people say their fruit is the best and lasts ages in the same sentence. To me, that means it's been grown with more chemicals to make it last longer and look nicer. In fact, I think there was an old survey showing M&S fruit and veg had more chemicals in them, not sure if it is the same now. It's the one place I won't buy fruit and veg unless organic. I'd rather buy Lidl organic veg even if it goes off quicker - surely that means there's fewer preservatives on/in it.

Madagascan vanilla custard and extremely chocolatey Swiss roll. Eaten together is heaven! I love the custard cold!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 09/08/2019 21:58

I said it’s the best fruit. It lasts longer than Lidl which is normally mouldy by the time I get home. If I buy fruit in Lidl I throw loads away. It’s bruised and mouldy. I don’t think it’s due to preservatives, I think they buy it at a different stage of ripeness.

To me it lasts as long as I expect it to. I grow my own veg so I know fresh veg,

Granola squares from the bakery

LoveGrowsWhere · 10/08/2019 09:51

DS favourite is the pulled pork sausage rolls. Might have Hog in the name somewhere.

girlywhirly · 10/08/2019 11:44

From the crisps section, their mini poppadums and prawn crackers. From the curries section, garlic and coriander naans.

girlywhirly · 10/08/2019 11:45

Oh, and Welsh cakes.

Elledouble · 10/08/2019 11:48

The posh pizzas are good.
The Plant Kitchen Cauliflower Popcorn (little battered nuggets of cauli) is delish.

Davros · 10/08/2019 16:15

I bought two tins of Pina Colada today in the back of this thread 🍹

OrangeSwoosh · 10/08/2019 16:21

I've only skimmed, but have I skimmed 2 1/2 pages and not seen a mention of the M&S more chocolate than biscuit chocolate biscuits?!

Leakinglikeacolander · 10/08/2019 16:22

@nocoolnamesleft totally with you on the Apricot pastries.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 10/08/2019 17:29

I agree with BloomingHydrangea

Definitely overpriced. Not at all keen on the Chinese takeaway. Sainsbury’s is better. Actually Aldi is better.

LexieLoos · 10/08/2019 17:45

Victoria sponge 😍
Honey roast ham crisps

AntHilda · 10/08/2019 20:33

Their sliced ham is delicious for sardines.
Extra chocolatey chocolate rounds (mouth is watering at the thought as I'm on a diet)
Any of their tinned curries.

AntHilda · 10/08/2019 20:33

Sarnies, not sardines Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/08/2019 20:53

I can take or leave most of it, but their berries are better than anywhere else, the popcorn cauliflower is lovely and I like their cheese & onion croquettes. I rarely buy much else, except for flowers.

ALittleBitAlexis · 10/08/2019 21:08

The smoked spiced proscuitto and cheese rollitos, part of the 3 for £7 tapas and I just get three packs of them - too good.

Rory786 · 10/08/2019 21:54

Low fat chocolate mousse- no other shop sells one that is suitable for vegetarians!

Stravapalava · 10/08/2019 21:55

The caramel and chocolate coated popcorn if they still do it. The blonde chocolate is nice too.

HelloyouKant · 10/08/2019 22:07

Leftiefterson · 10/08/2019 22:15

Prosciutto and cheese bites (seriously good!)
All their salad stuff is lovely, the prepared packs
Marinated chicken
Minted lamb cutlets
All the cake

Tbh I love it all

Titsywoo · 10/08/2019 22:18

Butter Chicken, pilau rice and the garlic naan breads. The curry is lush!

Also the reduced fat ready salted crinkle crisps (I can get through bags of them!), smoked salmon and cream cheese sarnie and the chinese chicken wings.

GettickledGETTICKLEDbyspiders · 10/08/2019 22:31

Cheese scones form the bakery.
