Their fruit and veg is the best on the high Street.

BloomingHydrangea · 09/08/2019 20:50

Nothing. It is mostly over processed carp

Fur coat and no knickers

YesQueen · 09/08/2019 20:56

Twocoffees · 09/08/2019 20:58

I do make an occasional trip to M&S for the bread. I choose all sorts and put a few loaves in the freezer. It freezes really well and there is never any waste. It’s delicious and goes very well with the rest of my shop which is from Lidl.

Nononononono33 · 09/08/2019 21:01

Caramelised onion and mustard posh dog sausages - amazing!
Lime curd buns
Chilli halloumi kebabs as a pp has mentioned

I’m going abroad on and off for four weeks shortly and the M&S food hall is going to be one of my first stops when I’m back!

OtraCosaMariposa · 09/08/2019 21:01

My favourite thing is their Fragrant Wok Beef Noodles.

Delicious.

Rarfy · 09/08/2019 21:02

I prefer my carp unprocessed

LoveGrowsWhere · 09/08/2019 21:07

As PP the fragrant wok beef noodles.
Smoked salmon - use with Philadelphia to make fastest pasta sauce.
Cheese nachos way better than doritos & currently half-price if you buy a dip....
Red pepper hummus.
Potato & spinach gratin.
Sourdough loaf.

Crunchymum · 09/08/2019 21:14

I tend to agree with @BloomingHydrangea... to a degree.

However I always nip in as I prefer their hummus over any other shop bought (yes I know I can make my own.... but I never do!)

I buy their packets of chicken from the Deli and that is my lunch for the week (its approx 150 cals a pack and my fave is Mexican chicken). I also don't mind their hot and spicy chicken tenders for the occasional lazy dinner.

Black olive crackers and their honey and mustard dressing are always restocked when we run out at home

Their choux buns are amazing. Only thing I ever buy from M&S that I feel is actually a proper treat.

I live very close to a decent M&S, but there is nothing I absolutely couldn't live without. I wouldn't travel to go to Mark's.

Lilyrose90 · 09/08/2019 21:15
