It's the summer holiday season for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so every day during August I will be bringing you some photos of what the Playmolanders are getting up to this summer.

Holidaymakers are on the ferry to the Isle of Browne

Today, Edwin, Esther and family are heading for the beach with their boat on a trailer.

Edwin and Esther are in the front of the boat, while Ella and Edmund sit in the back with the dog.

Meanwhile in Greenchester General Hospital it's a busy day in A & E. Algernon has arrived with cellulitis in his arm. Despite previously being completely mobile, Algernon will miraculously lose the use of his legs on arriving in hospital and will remain bedbound for weeks, despite the best efforts of the physiotherapists and nursing staff to get him up.

Holly has fallen off her horse. She has sustained a spinal injury and will require surgery. She will be in a lot of pain and need copious quantities of morphine for weeks.

Elaine has brought in her daughter Emily, who has fallen off a swing and cut her head open. She is being checked over by doctor Ruth and nurse Rachel.

Earlier in the summer Alice survived an attempt by her brother Ashley to poke her eye out with a barbecue fork. But this time he has managed to jam a saucepan onto her head. Her mum Angela brings her in to get it removed.

Are there any drunk and disorderly Playmobil people cluttering up the corridors like in our local A&E?!

Horsemad, they all get seen very quickly, as this is Playmoland!

Bella and her mum Barbara are going on holiday by train. They are waiting at Ruggington station along with other passengers. The train arrives, driven by Reg.

Meanwhile at the riding stables, Françoise and Konstanze are practising their showjumping.

Konstanze is hoping for a clear round.

Ds was never really into horses - the only reason we got those was for the PlaymOlympics in 2012!
