It's the summer holiday season for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so every day during August I will be bringing you some photos of what the Playmolanders are getting up to this summer.

Holidaymakers are on the ferry to the Isle of Browne

Oh I love play mobile but dc's collection lives st their grandparents where it's far better protected from being scattered between boxes and lost. Murray the captain is v cool 😎

Ds has kept his Playmo, also still has some NERF guns and cuddly toys, but we gave away/sold most other things exceptbooks and a few games/puzzles.

But he has a huge amount of Playmo.

Today it was all happening in Eastgate Park. But what will tomorrow bring?

At Lowbeach-on-Sea, Margaret is at the beach with her son Mason. "Make sure you have sun cream on" she tells him.

A little later they are joined by Zara and her children Freya and Cole. They have brought along a pop up paddling pool. Freya plays in the pool while Cole and Mason play with boats. Zara is going surfing while Margaret relaxes on the sun lounger.

Fiona and Abigail arrive at the beach.

Fiona has brought a book to read, while Abigail prefers to relax and sunbathe.

Fiona take her lilo out in the sea and Abigail takes a photo.

I hope Fiona’s being sensible on that lilo. Don’t want her drifting out to sea!

Hopefully there are lifeguards at Lowbeach @petalpower!

Fingers crossed - that looks like a disaster about to happen! Fiona should know better really.

I think Fiona's the sensible sort. But you can never be too careful with inflatables!

At least the Playmolanders have had good weather today - it's been raining nearly all day where I live!

I've just discovered I don't have enough photos for 19th August. I am going to have to be inventive...

A Total Eclipse of the sun, perhaps?

I've got several days of Playmo adventures to catch up with, so that's my tomorrow sorted....

Not sure I can do total eclipse with Playmo... but I think I may have an idea or two...

Just catching up after a few days. Wow, the sea rescue day was intense. So glad the missing person turned up on the beach eventually, but I am a bit worried about the life raft. Does that mean there is a stricken yacht just over the horizon? Or was it a dry run (wet run) for people smugglers ?

Oh good, there are lifeguards on the beach! The lifeguards on duty today are Shane and Kylie. Glen and Patina are on the beach with their children Lee and Marie. Lee is playing with his toy sailboat while Marie is trying to catch fish in her net.

Glen is doing a spot of surfing, Lee is going snorkelling and Marie has found a starfish.

Glen and Patina sit in the shade of the beach chair, and Marie is under the sun umbrella, while Lee plays in the sand.

They are joined on the beach by their friends Dawson and Simone and their daughter Danielle and dog Buster.

Dawson, Simone, Danielle and Buster have hired a paddle boat.

Danielle tries out the slide on the paddle boat.

A bit later, Glen and Dawson hire a kayak.

@viques, I expect the large rescue boat will go and deal with any stricken yachts!

The Playmobil people are all celebrating today because ds got his A level results and got into the university of his choice.
