Which brand of sanitary towels don’t cause the burning pain of a thousand suns?

I switched to washable pads when all brands started impregnating their pads with scent, causing immediate itchy agony whenever I used them. Now I have to go away for a weekend when I will be on my period with no access to laundry facilities. I have neither the time to order nor inclination to use a menstrual cup. As a one-off I will use disposables but which ones are scent-free nowadays?? I used to find that it wasn’t always labelled on the pack as it had become so ubiquitous and I really don’t want to end up inadvertently stuck with the pain (or the horrible synthetic floral smell, come to that!). Can anyone recommend a scent-free brand?

Re swimming without a tampon or menstrual cup, I think you might be ok on lighter days, but can't think of alternative suggestions for heavy flow, sorry.

I would use tampons for swimming of course but just don’t trust them enough. Thanks for the stockist link - I’d hoped Cottons might be a good option from Boots but sounds like perhaps not!

Body form still seem to be scent free.

Lillets do an Ultra tampon for really heavy flow, I use it on day 2. Usually with a pad too though for peace of mind as I get flooding and don't want to risk a leak if I'm in a meeting that over runs!

The purple bodyform don't feel plasticy and are comfortable. They're also huge (in length) which I don't mind because it means I'm not uncomfortable because it stopping in an awkward place.

I find the Morrisons own brand ones good, pretty sure they're unscented and they're very thick (if you get the night pads without wings) and comfy.

I prefer tampons for daytime use but use pads at night.

Morrisons ones are also really cheap.

Bodyform are good and not as plasticky as Always
