Is the lion king suitable for a two year old?

This is not going to be a popular view but surely a 2 year old shouldn't be static and staring at a screen in a darkened room for 90 mins. I'd buy him a couple of farm animal style toy lions instead and wait a few years for the film.

Not a popular view because it's a bit silly. My own 2yo will probably visit the cinema twice a year and play with his toy animals most days.

Yup. Another vote for not suitable for 2 yo.

I went to see it the other day (it is my favourite childhood film) and I loved it. It's great!!!!!

But there was a 4/5 year old in the cinema watching and bless her, she cried for a solid 10 mins (balled her eyes out) after mufasa died.
