My husband ate a sweet he found in our daughter's car. He feels extremely disorientated and unwell now. It m ay not be linked at all, but we have suddenly thought could the sweet have actually been a drug? Totally shocked, praying it isn't. Does anyone recognise these? Thanks so much.

A & E must have been empty then. What luck.

Rtmhwales · 19/07/2019 00:05

I've never seen any cannabis sweets that look like that, and they're legal in my country and everywhere.

CrispbuttyNo1 · 19/07/2019 00:05

Why are you dreading tomorrow?. Are you sure she didn't say it was herbal candy?. You both seem extreme drama llamas.

Nikhedonia · 19/07/2019 00:06

Incredibly efficient A&E, OP.

Great that he didn't need to see a Dr.

overnightangel · 19/07/2019 00:07

Good job it wasn’t cough candy, I’ve heard it’s a gateway sweet.
Before you know it your telly and laptop are missing and there’s starburst wrappers everywhere

GabsAlot · 19/07/2019 00:07

He wouldnt have died having weed op even the pure stuff

CrispbuttyNo1 · 19/07/2019 00:08

See I'm thinking of this type of herbal... Not the weed kind.. And to be fair this is exactly what it looks like too.

Given the dodgy subject matter can we still get this thread to Classics? Comedy genius, we can’t lose it!

Smotheroffive · 19/07/2019 00:10

Weed edibles... Mmmm!

LoseLooseLucy · 19/07/2019 00:12

GrabbyGertie · 19/07/2019 00:12

DishingOutDone · 19/07/2019 00:18

Weed sweets. Who knew. I think the OP is a teeny bit cross with us. But I'd still like to know why the shit is hitting the fan tomorrow. And I dearly want her to put a fat ball on a plate in the fridge ...

NeverSayFreelance · 19/07/2019 00:18

I feel like I need some weed sweets after this thread 😂😂Grin

AltheaVestr1t · 19/07/2019 00:23

This thread is to ridiculous to read, can someone summarise?!

K1ssIt · 19/07/2019 00:25

People snooping through the glovebox is exactly why DH will not let his parents use his car anymore, plus his dad bought his own Land Rover so doesn't use ours anymore but he found out they were snooping.

His car is bigger than fils so sometimes they'd use it for weekends away, transporting building stuff etc and I'd suspected they were rummaging in there because my cigarettes went missing after they'd used it, my sunglasses would smell of his mother perfume etc so I put a big dildo and handcuffs and a printout about dogging places on the pouch behind my seat. When they returned the car neither of them could look us in the eye 😂

I'm pleased it's just a bit of weed and I know there's a funny side, but he really shouldn't have been rummaging through her bits of wrapped up tissue in her glovebox, if he was driving it could have ended up a different story.

AquaPris · 19/07/2019 00:28

MDMA tastes like evil, chemical he'll he would've immediately spat it out. Crack apparently has a powerful numbing taste so if not that then it's not crack. Why would he eat and irregular old sweet?

Weed is hardly the devil, many 18yos use it

RolyWatts · 19/07/2019 00:40

They really don't look like any weed sweets I've ever seen. Did you take them to the hospital with you to show them what he ingested?

KaleidoscopeEyes · 19/07/2019 00:46

@overnightangel Good job it wasn’t cough candy, I’ve heard it’s a gateway sweet. 😂😂

Ahhh this thread has really cheered me up.

I'm struggling with the whole 'waking up, going to A&E and back posting on MN in 2 hours' thing, but the replies have been golden.

AllSweetnessAndLight · 19/07/2019 00:46

Glad yourDH is alright @missmouse101. Get some sleep. Tomorrow is another day. Don't get too angry with your DD, she wasn't to know what would happen.

lifeinthedeep · 19/07/2019 00:57

I reckon your daughter is a drug lord.

catofdoom · 19/07/2019 01:09

I line somewhere where weed is legal. I've seen 100's of types of edibles. Bollocks if they're weed sweets.

catofdoom · 19/07/2019 01:10

I LIVE. (I'm not stoned.)

Grandcentralstation · 19/07/2019 01:15

Bloody hell what a story Grin ok to summarise...

OP’s husband snooped in their daughter’s glovebox, found some sweets that look like molly and ate one. He then felt sick/high so OP panicked and sensibly came straight to to ask us wise drug experts what the sweets looked like. A few people said crack but couldn’t be sure without proof of size. So OP photographed the rocks next to a spoon. Meanwhile OPs husband slipped into a deep sleep and op disappeared from the thread to call her daughter in France and ask whether she was a crack fiend.

Update: they’re herbal cannabis sweets but a hospital visit was still required because many people die from eating cannabis sweets every year. Better to be safe than sorry.

Sabich · 19/07/2019 01:29

@Grandcentralstation are you a wise drug expert? I'm glad someone is, we need experts in the field.

We can examine cough sweets next for their deviant properties. I'm sure they have many, and lurk behind an innocent exterior.
