No, I believe they are a suffocation risk.

Greenolivesorblackolives · 02/07/2019 23:32

Bad idea. Avoid.

aPengTing · 02/07/2019 23:32

No, they’re dangerous.

Don’t use plug socket covers either.

You could google this! No. They are a suffocation risk.

Chocolate35 · 02/07/2019 23:34

Definite no.

minipie · 02/07/2019 23:44

The mesh ones without ties, or the ones which wrap around individual cot bars, are ok I believe. The mesh ones will stop arms getting stuck between bars and the individual bar ones will stop them bashing themselves when they roll. The padded ones that go the whole way round have risks.

FannyFeatures · 02/07/2019 23:51

No.

Lullaby Trust article

User8888888 · 03/07/2019 01:13

No. I’m surprised they’re still sold. Why are you asking when the advice online is so clear that they are dangerous?

TenSheets · 03/07/2019 01:59

NO!

managedmis · 03/07/2019 02:04

No!

dreichuplands · 03/07/2019 02:41

I understand they are now considered to be dangerous and the advice is not to use them.

Topseyt · 03/07/2019 02:45

No. Very dangerous. Suffocation risk.

Undercoverdetective · 03/07/2019 05:54

The mesh ones have a strangulation risk if they are not fitted correctly.

PatricksRum · 03/07/2019 06:07

NO

Cuppa12345 · 03/07/2019 06:08

Fantababy · 03/07/2019 06:09

DoraleeRhodes · 03/07/2019 06:17

No, can’t believe they are still available

MustStopSnacking28 · 03/07/2019 06:19

PhillipeFellope · 03/07/2019 07:58

No. They're dangerous.

Pinkwink · 03/07/2019 07:59

No, they should be illegal.

Cookit · 03/07/2019 08:01

Of course not. This information is widely available.

littlemissalwaystired · 03/07/2019 12:54

Big fat no coming from a midwife. Your baby should ideally be in their own crib with no toys, cot bumpers or loose blanketsSmile

BillywigSting · 03/07/2019 12:59

Bad idea, serious suffocation /strangulation /smothering risk.

They should be sodding banned.

Snottymonkey · 03/07/2019 12:59

Big no-no and mentioned repeatedly by health visitor as a big no. Why the hell are they being sold still??

vinoandbrie · 03/07/2019 13:35

No.
