We are stuck in a Pizza Express phase at the moment. Admittedly it could be worse (like the yo sushi phase) and we do eat other places but Pizza Express is always first their first choice. What is your dc’s favourite?

KFC Grin

jollyohh · 02/07/2019 22:47

Nandos

Although I've spent far to much time in pizza express over the years!

hopefulhalf · 02/07/2019 22:47

Girraffe

Riverside85 · 02/07/2019 22:48

Frankie and Benny’s Hmm She likes the mac and cheese boat... She’s only 5yo. She will happily come along to better places though, F&B’s is just her first choice.

Littlechef11 · 02/07/2019 22:50

Wagamamas ia a firm favourite with my dc1 5 year old and dc2 2 years old we order plain rice, noodles, greens, squid, prawns and dumplings.. not a bit left normally Shock
They love the novelty of the kids chopsticks too

MummaGiles · 02/07/2019 22:50

Nandos (DS is 4 and chicken is life). I’m pretty happy going to Nandos.

Jamhandprints · 02/07/2019 22:52

Assuming McDonald's is not a valid answer?

TheDuckSaysMoo · 02/07/2019 22:52

Wagamamas has a great kids menu - very plain if your kids are fussy like mine. They love the origami and kids chopsticks too.

septemberismyfavouritemonth · 02/07/2019 22:53

Wagamama

RagingWhoreBag · 02/07/2019 22:56

Mine are all teens, but for a few years now if we want to find somewhere we all agree on, it’s been Wagamama, TGI or Chiquito. DD is quite fussy so she’ll have ramen, a burger or plain chicken wrap and chips. She finds everything in Nando’s too spicy - even the mild kids’ stuff!

Last time we went there she had a Caesar salad but doesn’t like the dressing or Parmesan so ended up with a bowl of lettuce and croutons for £8! DP will never let that one go Grin

RagingWhoreBag · 02/07/2019 22:58

They used to love Giraffe when they were little but mainly because of the little plastic giraffe that came on their drinks, not necessarily the food.

soundsystem · 02/07/2019 22:58

Nandos here too. 4-Year-old DDhas just decided to be vegetarian and it's still Nandos

Ihavepatrick · 02/07/2019 23:00

Five guys

soberken · 02/07/2019 23:01

Yo Sushi!

Rainatnight · 02/07/2019 23:02

Wahaca. Lots of little bits to enjoy, good kids’ menu, colouring pencils.

Muddlingalongalone · 02/07/2019 23:05

Bills, Chiquitos & F&B for dd1
Pizza Express for dd2 (who would love to sushi and Wagamama if dd1 would entertain the idea)

Elledouble · 02/07/2019 23:07

Anywhere that does tomato pasta, basically... we took the kid to Nando’s recently, went mad for the broccoli, picked at the chips and wouldn’t touch the burger!

Babymamamama · 02/07/2019 23:08

Up to last month it was Wagamamas but we recently progressed onto Gourmet Burger.

BikeRunSki · 02/07/2019 23:08

ASK, Waga’s and some local places.

CassianAndor · 02/07/2019 23:09

Pizza Express! She’s veggie and fussy.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 02/07/2019 23:10

There's a chain local to us (can't fucking sneeze without hitting one) called Sambuccas. It's a typical Italian place, cheap as hell, tasty and incredibly fast service. The dc always choose there. Thankfully they are in decent places (beaches, parks etc) so we add them into a day out.

ExpletiveDelighted · 02/07/2019 23:15

My youngest loves a carvery above all else, the oldest can't abide roast dinners and general pub type food. He prefers Nandos, Chiquitos etc. We often end up in Pizza Express as they will both eat there and its the only place locally that does Meerkat meals.

MoodLighting · 02/07/2019 23:17

Pret a Manger bizarrely

PepsiLola · 02/07/2019 23:19

Las iguanas - always a winning with my 5 and 3 yo

SudowoodoVoodoo · 02/07/2019 23:19

Chinese. Very useful when out in small areas without chains as there is normally a Chinese to hand.

Carvery. They can devour a surprising amount of roast dinner!
