Gum drops here.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 30/06/2019 07:53

I wonder whether one or more of these names were a brand name for the sweets? A bit like the way some people call coarse sherbet kali.

In America - gumdrops

Jubes here. I’m in Australia.

Jube Jubes

CakeNinja · 30/06/2019 10:37

I’d just call them ‘the nice jelly ones from dolly mixtures’ - all other DM sweets are horrible but these are yum.
Not as nice as jelly tots of course but still good.

Peachesandcream14 · 30/06/2019 10:48

Gum drops

EileenAlanna · 30/06/2019 10:49

I'm in the Jube Jubes corner. It's what we all called them in my neck of the woods.

Iamthewombat · 30/06/2019 14:43

I have heard of jujubes but not jube jubes. Jujubes are jelly sweets named after a little fruit (maybe a plum or something?)

SrSteveOskowski · 30/06/2019 15:21

I just call them jellies here (Irish in Ireland)
Jelly tots are flatter and come in a yellow bag.
