Yes Boris, I do want to hear about what happened.

Boris in the news, says people 'Don't want to hear about that sort of thing' - when asked about his domestic yesterday. Yes Boris, I do want to know actually. I want to know exactly how the next likely PM conducts himself & I don't think your domestic ding-dongs are off the agenda when half the neighbours can hear them.

I was prepared to give Bozza the benefit of the doubt but this behaviour might just tip me over the edge. We need to know. Are you electable or a complete loose cannon?

I totally want to hear it.

Leatherflamingle · 22/06/2019 19:52

Same. I really want to hear it.

KurriKawari · 22/06/2019 19:54

Tbh we've heard enough about him and his poor behaviour already and it wont stop his friends from voting him in and this incident will do little to change that.

NoBaggyPants · 22/06/2019 19:58

The Conservative supporter audience cheered when he said that. What does that say about their views on domestic abuse?

Don't call him Bozza. He's not a clown, he's a very intelligent and manipulative person with a great deal of power. When we refer to him by silly names it makes his behaviour acceptable, like it's fun and "banter". It's not, he knows exactly what he is doing.

ragged · 22/06/2019 20:19

I don't care. Sounds like banter between 2 stressed out grumpy drunk people.
However, I don't blame the neighbours for publicising. If you shouted so loud I could hear your argument then fair game for me to tell anyone I want to about your nuisance-ness.

ineedaknittedhat · 22/06/2019 20:28

He's a tosser and we hear enough about tossers at the present moment in time (trump).

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 22/06/2019 20:30

He made the incident public by yelling loud enough to be heard outside his home. So why has Boris gone all quiet and shy now? Not like you, Boris. If you intend to be PM then tell us what happened.

happybunny007 · 22/06/2019 20:31

I want to hear about it too. But to be fair I am quite nosey.

ZenNudist · 22/06/2019 20:33

I think he should answer for his failures for once!

What a goon, and a misogynist to boot. Why oh why let him near the premiership

Emmapeeler · 22/06/2019 20:35

I also want to hear about it. Sounded curiously like domestic violence to me. And I agree about the Tories’ attitude towards it.

bourbonbiccy · 22/06/2019 20:55

@NoBaggyPants that's exactly how I feel about him.

He knows exactly how to play the unsuspecting buffoon, but he is not the bumbling idiot people like to "joke"about him being. I think he will be dangerous for our country.

Violetparis · 22/06/2019 20:58

The more I see of him, the more I think he is just a bumbling idiot.

MyOpinionIsValid · 22/06/2019 21:01

Peoples private lives aren't our business.

You just have some nosey neighbour wanting to get his own face in the paper and sell a story for a few pence.

I'll summarise for you: Bloke spills wine, partner goes apeshit about her soft furnishings, nosey neighbour calls police, police arrive, bloke and partner bemused.

IGottaSeeJane · 22/06/2019 21:09

The possible (probable) future PM has the police round his house and he can't (or won't) come up with an acceptable explanation! You bet we want to know Boris and, one day, we'll find out!

JQBased · 22/06/2019 21:12

Can't anyone see how this seems more than just a coincidence? Good grief! It's amazing that in 2019 people still cling to the reports in the mainstream news media and it's not so subtle witch hunts.

JQBased · 22/06/2019 21:14

@MyOpinionIsValid

Your rational mind is wasted on MN, most on here won't see it like that.

53rdWay · 22/06/2019 21:18

Yes, who among us hasn’t had the police turn up because of a spill on the sofa? Happens every day Hmm

I would also like to know what happened. I wouldn’t trust him to tell it, but I do think the fact he isn’t even trying to come up with a fair explanation means that he knows exactly how bad it sounded.

DuchessSybilVimes · 22/06/2019 21:20

Anyone noticed he's got much neater hair now? Apparently he used to mess it up deliberately. Now that he's sniffing round the top job it's suddenly laying down flat. Though his socks were on inside out to keep up the 'friendly eccentric' act.

What a cunt.

Pinkypurplerose · 22/06/2019 21:21

Peoples private lives aren't our business - they are though when they run for office

OP posts:
Obviouspretzel · 22/06/2019 21:26

@pinkypurplerose I don't think that extends to his arguments with his partner.

lasttimeround · 22/06/2019 21:26

I also want to hear about it. I cant believe people dont think its relevant. How do you have an argument loud enough for your neighbour's to hear. What does it say about his self restraint.

byteme1011 · 22/06/2019 21:30

@JQbases if it's audible in the house next door it's not private. 2 women are killed a week in England and Wales alone as a result of domestic abuse. Please don't take this attitude and if you hear screaming in the house next door and tbey dont answer chaps on the door, call the police.

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 22/06/2019 21:46

People’s private lives are other people’s business when they conduct them loudly enough to be heard through walls, and when what they hear is alarming.

CloudPop · 22/06/2019 21:46

Face it, his supporters will thoroughly applaud this. They'll be thrilled to hear he doesn't take any shit from some chick. He'll have soared in their estimation. God help us all.

MyOpinionIsValid · 22/06/2019 21:48

they are though when they run for office

No they aren't. You might think you own a public figure, but they still have the same right to a private and family life as the rest of us. Shame the media - and nosey neighbours - don't see it like that.

if it's audible in the house next door it's not private.

Summer, windows open. Sound carries.

A nosey neighbour who had the foresight to record the whole thing, and give it to the papers, thus scuppering any police investigation - and the police have been and said nothing of note happened.
