Discontinued foods or items you miss?

Posted a thread of what were treats growing up to you, and it was a really nice thread, got me thinking what foods now can't you buy that you used to love? Here are some of mine..

Those plastic drinks with the funny lid you twisted of,

That's interesting - the one I was thinking of was a thick pink cream. Looking through the reviews it seems that the original was discontinued and this is a new formula - some people saying it is exactly the same and others saying it isn't a patch on the pink stuff. I'll give it a try and keep my fingers crossed.

Someone upthread has just mentioned bitz mint and orange chocolate bars which has given me a huge wave of nostalgia - I used the think these were so grown up compared to the more mainstream chocolate bars. One year I got a mint bitz easter egg and was beside myself with excitement!

I used to love Ovaltine chocolate.

Oh god so many things I miss, they seem to discontinue all the food I like 😩 a few though...

Turkey burgers with a pizza flavour sauce wrapped in breadcrumbs (from the 80s I think?)
Tesco rum baba - a single choux dessert in the chiller (90s)
Lidl ginger and dark chocolate granola
Most recently Sainsbury’s Elderflower Cyder, I loved it and it’s gone 😭
Also I swear galaxy used to do a small egg filled with a kind of truffle - I keep looking but they only do caramel filled ones now, these were so good though!

Oh and Option Turkish delight hot chocolate - ASDA used to deliver it instead of a different options flavour but never listed it in their online shop - what was that about? It was lovely though.

@Tobebythesea yes that could be it, they did really nice unusual fruit things much cheaper than the body shop.

Does anyone remember the 5 finger kitkat back in the 90s? Now they were a treat!

Haven’t RTFT so unsure if it’s already been mentioned but I loved Cadbury Marble as a kid, always got one when I went to the corner shop. It combined milk and white chocolate with praline so was literally the best chocolate bar imaginable. Miss it .

Frozen Chicken Supreme with Rice from the late 80s/early 90s. I crave it regularly.

I miss Balisto Bars, they were bloody lovely.

Does anyone remember the 5 finger KitKat I remember them being in vending machines in the mid-80s. DD was born in 86 and I lived on them when pregnant

Does anyone remember the strips of gum that was in shapes of fruits and they was really nice I think about 15P you'd get an apple one, a pear and banana etc and an orange really like small fruits

I miss the dipped flake, and the praline one.

Spicy toms crisps. Used to buy them at the school disco with a panda pop and straw of sherbet no-one could open...or opened with teeth and get 3 grains out of before it all gummed up.

Also a chocolate bar, with Smarties in. But not actual Smarties...they had little faces printed on them. Can't find what it was called.

Findus chilli beef french bread pizza. Ate this A LOT when I was younger.
