Do you put on fresh pyjamas every night?

I have no reason for asking other than curiosity really! I only change my pyjamas once or twice a week but other threads have made me wonder if that’s a bit grim?!

And once more we see why the planet is fucked.
Pjs don’t need changing daily or even bi-weekly.

MummyBear2352 · 23/05/2019 20:35

Same as you I change mine once or twice a week.

Flicketyflack · 23/05/2019 20:37

Change sleepwear twice per week generally and I have survived to age 47 Wink

The planet is fucked if we keeping using water to wash everything every day! No wonders allergies are on the increase because immunity is so poor as we are not exposed to so many allergens as we keep washing, washing, washing 🙁

Nightshirt, every 3 days.

Same with leisure wear.

megletthesecond · 23/05/2019 20:37

Yes.

Sculpin · 23/05/2019 20:39

Once a week for me (and DH and the DC).

bugaboo218 · 23/05/2019 20:55

Yes clean pj's here every night. I tend to shower/ bath and pop clean pj's on. DH and the children also have clean pj's every night.

If I am ill or having a lazy day at home then I will take off pj's I slept in, have my morning shower and put another pair of clean pj's on.

Ikeameatballs · 23/05/2019 21:00

Naked sleeper and one set of lounge wear does me most evenings of the week. Same for DP.

DS sleeps in his pants unless it’s really cold and DD wears PJs a couple of nights.

IDontCareRightNow · 23/05/2019 21:11

Just because some of us wear clean pjs every night doesn't mean we wash them every day sometimes I only wash 3 times a week just means we have enough to cover us for everyday.. there's plenty of other things that are ruining the planet believe it or not we need clean clothes

AlexaAmbidextra · 23/05/2019 21:19

Me and the children have clean ones every night

Children, so assuming at least two. Plus you equals twenty-one pairs of pjs per week. In addition to all your other washing. What on earth for? All that water used and the detergent going down the drains. I’m not an ecology fanatic but ffs. ☹️

AlexaAmbidextra · 23/05/2019 21:22

we need clean clothes

Nobody needs clean pjs every night unless they have continence issues. Utterly ridiculous.

Borris · 23/05/2019 21:25

Change weekly here too

Celebelly · 23/05/2019 21:26

Yes, but I often leak milk on them overnight!

Ragwort · 23/05/2019 21:30

Can’t believe the amount of laundry some of you are creating, no wonder we have so many ‘housework’ threads and moaning about unhelpful partners, 90% of what you do is probably totally unnecessary Hmm.

Pyjamas changed about once a week here (no incontinence or hot flushes).

woahtherehorsey · 23/05/2019 21:34

Once a week, on a Saturday when I change my bed and sometimes when I am really lucky the stars will align and I will have had a shower too so I have the holy grail of clean body, clean pjs and clean bedding

MustardBastard · 23/05/2019 21:35

And there goes the eco warriors moaning about the amount of washing people are doing. Perhaps some people don't want to smell of BO 🤷🏼‍♀️

Answeringonlyyesorno · 23/05/2019 21:36

Once a fortnight #minger

NoParticularPattern · 23/05/2019 21:40

No, but then I don’t wear them actually in bed. I wear them perhaps for an hour or two after a bath but before I get into bed. Stick them in the wash whenever they seem mucky really

Sandsnake · 23/05/2019 21:40

Once a week or so for me. Probably two pairs a week for 3 yo DS - oddly he seems to sweat more than I do!

autumnleaves15 · 23/05/2019 21:42

I get into my pyjamas an hour or so after I get home from work for lounging around but sleep naked. I change them every 2-3 nights.

Flicketyflack · 23/05/2019 21:43

Certainly not an ecowarrier😂
No BO either because I shower and wash with soap and use deodorant 🤪
Because of this I don't need clean nightwear every night Wink

starsinyourpies · 23/05/2019 21:44

Every night, horrible night sweats.

TokenGinger · 23/05/2019 21:45

I generally put my pyjamas on when I get home from work, around 7-8 and then don't wear anything for bed. So they're worn for a few hours each night. I probably wear two sets of pyjamas a week.

IDontCareRightNow · 23/05/2019 21:46

I believe it's called personal preference
Clean pjs every night help me feel clean and I even use soap and deodorant too Shock
Imagine we were all the same how boring!

Ragwort · 23/05/2019 21:46

The last thing I am is an eco warrior, more like just lazy & cant understand the need for clean clothes all the time. I have a daily shower - no BO.
