Mine is walking in the woods in autumn with family. Also watching reality tv whilst eating (too many)custard creams and a cup of tea.

My first cup of tea of the day. Half an hour alone, at my kitchen table, drinking tea and listening to the world outside through the open window. Every morning, without fail.

This morning it's been closer to 1.5 hours & I'm now drinking coffee listening to birds chriping away and the odd dog barking.

The first half hour after we get in from school and work is always round the table too, with both girls. We have a cuppa and tell each other about our day. Sounds corny but dd1 is turning into a bedroom dwelling teenager, so it's nice to have that half hour catch up where they tell me everything and anything (including several bazillion things about Taylor Swift).

Lying down on the sofa for an afternoon nap when all of the chores have been done. Especially if DC wants a cuddle, too.

FrenchBoule · 28/05/2019 12:57

When everybody else is in bed and asleep ( no DH,I’m not interested what you cousin or work mate wrote on fb) and I can sit down, switch off, have myself to myself and do whatever I want uninterrupted (read a book or watch a movie)

Red wine and chocolate orange...pure gluttony 😋

Quiet, empty country roads, fine early summer weather, me, my bike and no one else.

BesselVanDerKolk · 28/05/2019 19:08

Sitting in the sunshine just outside my tent, overlooking the sea, with a freshly made cup of tea and a book to hand.

The 5 mins of peace i get driving to local shop on my own.

elliejjtiny · 28/05/2019 19:12

Sitting with dh with the dc all asleep in bed, a really good sitcom on the telly and ice lollies.

Pieceofpurplesky · 28/05/2019 19:24

Visiting my parents caravan in the welsh mountain. No WiFi. DS outside climbing rocks (even at 15) and me with a good book and a glass of wine.
There are many more but that is how I have spent my day currently in the pub with more wine and WiFi

BikeRunSki · 28/05/2019 19:26

Having a swimming pool all to myself.
Having a fresh piste all to myself.

There are no other people in my ideas of bliss.

Minai · 28/05/2019 19:33

Love these.

For me, it is being in the house by myself, enjoying the peace and silence. Lying on the sofa, watching whatever I like on tv and eating snacks.

I rarely get to do this as I have 2 children under 2 so being left alone in peace with no one on me and no one screaming in my ear is a fantasy right now!

Fakeflowersandlemonade · 28/05/2019 19:35

Camping. Sitting around a campfire under the stars with my family and good friends with a glass of wine or three. Makes all my stresses melt away. Truly my happy place

BelindasGleeTeam · 28/05/2019 19:44

A good walk in the countryside with DH and the kids.
Pub dinner
A hot bath with a g&t on the side and a book.
Clean pJs and sheets. Retire with aforementioned book. Maybe more wine. DH too if he's been good 😜

graziemille567 · 28/05/2019 19:45

Two bliss scenarios:

1: Rainy, cold day. Me, DH and DS in pjs all day. Duvet on the sofa, a good kids film on, hot chocolates for everyone, and roast dinner cooking in the oven.

2: Beachside house - nighttime, can hear the waves crashing on the shore, warm breeze ruffling my hair. DS is asleep, DH and I are drinking wine in the garden and laughing a ridiculous amount. Heaven!
