How do you pee when you are out with a pram?!

It crossed my mind yesterday, I was out shopping with baby in a carrier so I just went in the loo strapped to me but I did think what would happen if he was in his pram or pushchair and I needed to use a public loo?

Obviously no way I could get the pram in too so how do people manage?

You leave the door open with the peak in front of it. You use the farthest cubicle. Dignity is gone once you have kids!

Stylemebabyonemoretime · 16/05/2019 08:35

Disabled toliet.

Exactly

Try and find family toilets. They have them in John Lewis and a few other places. Not easy!!

MrsBertBibby · 16/05/2019 08:36

Changing cubicle.

HogMother · 16/05/2019 08:37

Baby change is usually in with/as big as a disabled cubicle. I went when changing the baby

ExpletiveDelighted · 16/05/2019 08:38

Our nearesr big shopping centre has plenty of cubicles big enough for a pram, our smaller town centre has big single room toilets with sink, dryer and plenty of space for a buggy too. No way could I have done it with a sling though.

Size14 · 16/05/2019 08:38

Yep, end cubicle with pram in front.

Thismumlikesart · 16/05/2019 08:39

You get to know the shops and places that have toilets in the baby changing cubicles

Bananalanacake · 16/05/2019 08:39

use the disabled loo and take the pram in. everyone assumes you're changing the baby.

Kpo58 · 16/05/2019 08:39

Changing or disabled cubicle as there are few real alternatives.

You leave the door open with the pram in front of it. You use the farthest cubicle
I'm glad that you have large enough ladies to do this. Most around me if you tried to do that would mean that you block several cubicles assuming that you could get the buggy through the doors into the ladies in the first place.

Size14 · 16/05/2019 08:40

The truly annoying ones are the places you have to pay and go through a turnstile then you ask a group of lovely OAP's to watch baby in the buggy

JuniperNarni · 16/05/2019 08:42

Park the pram outside the cubicle and hold baby while you go.

Stravapalava · 16/05/2019 09:38

Disabled / baby change.

JohnLapsleyParlabane · 16/05/2019 09:42

Umm I just park the pram in the most suitable space and go to the loo.
Sometimes in the same room (family toilets etc) but sometimes I'm in a cubicle and the pram is in the main bit of the loos.

PerfectPeony2 · 16/05/2019 09:43

Disabled or baby change. Never had an issue finding one.

LoafofSellotape · 16/05/2019 09:46

I always did this.

purpleme12 · 16/05/2019 09:48

Either baby change or disabled.

PerfectPeony2 · 16/05/2019 09:50

Maybe I’m lucky with the facilities around here but I’d never just leave the door open. Fair enough in your own home but I’d quite like to hold onto my dignity in public!!

flumpybear · 16/05/2019 09:52

I always used baby changing facilities as almost all had a toilet too
Occasionally disabled loo where no other alternative

fitzbilly · 16/05/2019 09:52

Disabled loos or family loos

Morgan12 · 16/05/2019 09:54

The disabled toilets.

DulcieRay · 16/05/2019 09:55

Baby change or disabled

I normally have a couple of places to go which I know are fine (toilet with space for pram, changing table and toilet) but if they are out of use it throws me completely. Especially as on opposite ends of town and I walk quite far to not have to leave DC/s in the pram by the sinks.

I'd rather use a disabled loo unecessesarily than them he kidnapped, though.

Puddingsmummy · 16/05/2019 10:24

I never thought of disabled, it's obvious now I think!
Not a chance would I go in a cubicle and leave baby in the main bit with my door closed!!! I'd definitely leave the door ajar!
