Does any one have a gravity blanket?

Early menopause due to cancer, a big bereavement and shift work means my sleep has gone to pot the last few years.
I saw these on Facebook and read all the reviews but wondered if anyone had one and found them useful?
They're so expensive but I'd be willing to invest if they actually work!

Anyone have any experience? Thanks

Oh and I overheat very easily. Get one that is woven cotton, not one of the fuzzy ones.

The blankets are sized for one person and are smaller than a regular blanket. You just want it to be long enough.

Also know that you are going to want a zip off cover. Washing the blankets is difficult so you want a cover you can pop off and wash. I couldn’t find a cheap enough one for mine. So I bought a twin duvet cover and just sewed two seams to make it smaller.

Ah that's interesting about the weight, I am very heavy Confused
So maybe a 7% weight might be better then? Does it still work as effectively if not so heavy?

So many questions I have- sorry!

The gravity blanket does have a money back guarantee so I guess in that respect it's worth a go.

I have 2 blankets. The first one I bought for myself but had to give it to my parents as I miscalculated the size and weight(( Fortunately, before the second purchase, I found this blog www.melacomfort.co.uk/blogs/the-blog/how-is-fibromyalgia-diagnosed-and-treated and learned a lot of useful information about weighted blankets. Now I enjoy a full sleep thanks to my super blanket!

I have a Softan one and love it. Mine is 7kg which is more than 10% of my body weight, but I think I could go heavier 😂. Definitely worth the investment.
