On a beautiful day the North Norfolk beaches, Blakeney point at low tide, the deserted section of beach between Wells and Holkham, or Holkham and Scolt Head have to be amongst the most beautiful in the world.

Hook island, great barrier reef. You need to take a tent!

Cornwall definitely doesn't have world class facilities. There isn't even a Pret A Manger or a John Lewis for starters.

Montpellier in the Languedoc ... probably my favourite place on earth

Cromer on a sunny day is out of this world

And the crabs you can catch on the pier are the finest in the country !!!

Bora Bora is the long held dream but then again my beloved Northumberland coast is equally as coveted
