What sort of shoes does your 12-14 YO DD wear to school? Clueless!

DD is 13 (Y8) and has been wearing comfy black ballerina/pump type shoes to school since she started comp. Her older sisters wore shoes like these a few years ago. Popped into school briefly recently and saw girls wearing different shoes, more substantial and trainer like.
DD needs new shoes, but I don't know what's "in" at the moment. She has SN and is no good at choosing for herself and I'm an older, rural mother who doesn't get out much!

Any suggestions gratefully received.

When she got them I laughed and said blimey DD1 are you going to be an Art Teacher when you grow up? She replied funny you say that, my Art Teacher wears the same shoes as me . They’re certainly good value for money, she’s had them for three years now, still going strong.
