I personally don't get the Big Bang Theory hype Confused

I'm sure however people feel the same about the shows I love Grin

Shawshank redemption: the most overrated film ever made.

I have NEVER come across anyone else who thinks this - just a pile of nothing!

Here's my really controversial one:

It's a wonderful life

Just trite, cliched poorly written bollocks!

@graphista

I was about to say Its a wonderful Life, I really don't get why everyone raves about it.
Also Shawshank Redemption, its an ok film but I wouldn't bother to watch it again.

Ghost Busters and Dirty Dancing and other 80's crap. Awful films.

TBBT
GoT
Miranda - the absolute opposite of funny
Peaky Blinders
How I Met Your Mother

Any reality (exceptions being GBBO and Dinner Date).
GOT - never seen it but not my sort of thing at all.
Mrs Browns Boys - just awful.
Lost - raved about at the time but didn’t get it.
DH has a thing for buying films lately; Greatest Showman - OK but I wouldn’t hurry to watch it again. He’s recently bought Bohemian Rhapsody and A Star is Born; I’m not keen to see either of them. TBH, I don’t have the attention span for films, they story has to really grab me for me to sit through it, or it can be light fluff that I don’t have to follow too closely, I see it as endurance rather than enjoyment.
Ripper Street - first series was good but in reality just another cop show but without cars.
My SIL stayed with us a few months ago and she raved about a series called High Hopes, set in the Welsh Valleys. It was dire.

Forrest Gump. I hate that film! and the 'Run, Forrest!' stupid Gif is so annoying.

Messyisthenewtidy · 27/04/2019 06:48

I did like Fleabag but it was overhyped.

For me it’s Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. Oh and How I met your Mother. Pure Friends - 1 rip-off

Haha this is like me. I think I'd have lost the will to live if I'd seen titanic at the cinema! I have the attention span of a goldfish when it comes to films although i can deal with kids ones 🙈🙈🙈😂 probably because the plot is aimed at 5 year olds

Hollowvictory · 27/04/2019 12:33

The wire

Hollowvictory · 27/04/2019 12:34

Oh god yes Luther.

SneakyGremlins · 27/04/2019 12:35

@Aldicheckoutworkout oh same! If it's a Disney or Pixar no problem but I don't have the attention span for anything else...

I had forgotten about OA I've just finished watching it and have no idea why I watched both series. I was told it was amazing but it just made no sense and the acting seemed so stiff. Plus what was with all that bloody dancing.

RosamundDarnley · 28/04/2019 09:04

South Park. My partner raves about it but I'm left cold.

Mrs Browns Boys - I was assured by many people that I would love it. I was waiting for it to finish!

Peaky Blinders - didn't grab me at all.

I'm currently trying Shetland as again, people have said it's "my" type of thing but I'm beginning to think that people don't know me
