**

Chardonnay is way too common nowadays. I hope they go for Malibu instead. It would also give a nod to the baby's American heritage.

H&M have already said we wont find out for days, they want this to be private, and they will disclose when they see fit.

That's not what they said at all. They said there won't be the photo call at Windsor for a few days.

There will be an announcement when she is in labour, and when the baby is born after they've had some time as a family. The press simply twisted the first part of the announcement into 'they're keeping baby secret' and ignored the second part.

Its exciting! I do wonder who the child will look like. My friend is a granny to a stunning little girl. Dad is mixed race and mum has pale skin/red hair. Little girl had pale skin with a mass of red afro hair. Quite spectacular and gorgeous.

Ohhh, hoping for a little girl. Thinking Dariana, as a nod to both grandmums.

Oops, meant Doriana...or Dorian for a little boy.

This baby might not be the next future king or queen, but this little baby is about to make modern day history!

And yes I do have a life, I just like the royals and I'm not ashamed Smile

Because 'speculating' is just pathetic
I don't see how people have so little to concern themselves with that they have the headspace to speculate over something that may or may not be happening right now

And yet, here you are. Speculating about other people's headspace. Oh, the irony!

I have a life. and just like royal weddings, royal babies are adorable. I look forward to the photos (when the time is right).

Oh come on, that’s a not so humble “my life is sooooo much fuller and more interesting than yours” brag.

Clearly your life isn’t so full as to prevent posting on MN Wink

Also LOLing at the supreme irony of the superior posters whose lives are WAY too busy and full to care about the Royals, but not too busy to spew bile on here.

Always have a little titter at people who are not content with simply being disinterested in the Royals, they have to make sure everyone Knows they are disinterested.
I have a FB friend who I guarantee will be the only person on my FB feed to comment on the baby, to tell us how little she cares.
People who don't care don't care enough to comment, surely?

News of a baby is always good news imo. Another fortnight before ours arrives.

I do hope its not Diana

Report
TerribleTwosPhase · 26/04/2019 19:10

I hope it's not Diana too, I understand it's a nice thought but she'll be her own little person and I don't think it would be fair to constantly be compared to Diana (although that may happen anyway, and of course we don't know it's a girl Grin )

CocoLoco87 · 26/04/2019 19:14

I think it will be a girl. Alexandra or Alice

Thanks Goldenchicken for the link.....in my excitement I forgot the link!!!!!! Isn't it a pity that other posters love to ruin a simple form of escapism ( interest in celebs), by taking time out of their "oh so busy lives", to post negative comments on mumsnet😂!

I'm going with Alice for a girl and Edward for a boy - maybe the middle names will be more edgy.

slothmama no such thing as a baby bank holiday celebration for the nation. I used to pray for the continued health of the Queen Mother at the start of every school holiday in case she died, there was a day of national mourning and I missed it. In the end she didn't ,and there wasn't one anyway. Swizz.
