...I've never heard of 420/4:20 in relation to cannabis culture .

I'm 51, have mixed with all sorts, shared student houses with some right stoners, have even smoked the stuff myself (many years ago) yet have never heard of "four twenty" until this week.

Anyone else found that something like this has completely passed them by?

It was a big thing here April 20th to smoke dope, but most states its legal now or will be soon, so not such a big deal.

Fazackerley it was "420 whatcha smokin" and other memes that my DC were talking about around 20th April that brought this whole topic to light.

Interesting how something like this, that's been around since the 70s, becomes so popular and becomes almost a mainstream/commercial event in some places 40+ years later

I'm in the UK and it was a 'thing' when I was a teen over a decade ago.

Never heard of that and had my fair share of weed in younger years.
