How long could you run for if zombies were chasing you?

Reckon after 12 minutes I'd be done and after vomming, I'd have to resign myself to a gory fate.

Supposedly there's adrenaline and survival instinct etc but am cynical. Genuinely feel like I'm going to die after a certain point when running. Even as a child, I was slooowww (however, could still keep ahead of most zombies, apart from the especially speedy types possibly) although I did have great stamina back then.

How about you? Do you think you'd find a burst of speed and endurance and could keep going like a machine, or would you be a goner?

After today, I can tell you that I could run for 5 hours and 3 minutes, with about half of that into a brutal headwind.

Nope. No running for me. I reckon I’d just mildly maim myself, and join the zombie ranks as an imposter in a feeble attempt to save myself

About 3 minutes. My cardiovascular fitness is dreadful

Yes, Zombie thread I know.. (see what I did there?! 🤣). Probably about 60 seconds so long as the zombies were slow shufflers. If they are like the zombies in iZombie then I am definitely a gonna!

I could run for hours, but I have a different question about whether the undead (more specifically vampires, but also zombies) would actually want to come near me. I have blood cancer - would they be able to
smell (or otherwise sense) that I am toxic? Would I be left alone? Might they run from me?
