He says hes had an odd tingly feeling in random parts for a while.

Hes NEVER said a word about tingling etc. Is a total drama llama, a wee papercut hes bout at blood loss so i dont know what to think.

And blames my progressive neurological condition for not telling me.

My condition has no effect on him at all, not a single fucking speck at all at the moment, i do everything.

I just dont know what to think. I do actually...

Your post makes no sense

I’m a bit lost
He’s tingly but it’s nothing to do with your nervous system?

Dramatical · 12/04/2019 22:25

He says hes had an odd tingly feeling in random parts for a while.

Hes NEVER said a word about tingling etc

Confused

So did he or didn't he?

Prequelle · 12/04/2019 22:30

Given your reaction here, I can see why he didn't tell you

TheCanyon · 12/04/2019 22:36

Dramatical he has never once mentioned it but now he does tonight randomly while blaming my condition for not saying anything

OP posts:
Prequelle · 12/04/2019 22:40

Was it really blame or was it more a reason for not wanting to burden you? Especially when you've already called him a drama llama.

choosingchilli · 12/04/2019 22:40

I get it op he's complaining of symptoms he's never mentioned before and using your illness as an excuse for not telling you before now.

If I were you I'd be suggesting he'd see his GP....

Dramatical · 12/04/2019 22:42

he has never once mentioned it but now he does tonight

That's him mentioning it then 🤷🏻‍♀️

TheCanyon · 12/04/2019 22:42

choosingchillip thank you!

TheSultanofPingu · 12/04/2019 22:42

Maybe he's been worrying about the tingling for a while, but didn't want to tell you as you've got your own health concerns.

cuppycakey · 12/04/2019 22:47

I am so confused....

GiveMeAllTheGin8 · 12/04/2019 22:50

What Hmm

ShowOfHands · 12/04/2019 22:51

The op's dh is a bit of a hypochondriac but has never once mentioned that he gets a tingling feeling, which he has experienced for a while. He has finally admitted this, telling the op he kept it quiet because she too has a serious neurological condition and he didn't want to worry her.

NC4Now · 12/04/2019 22:52

So basically he said “I’ve been getting these weird tingly feelings, but I didn’t want to say anything because of your neurological condition”?

And you don’t know whether to believe him?

JaneJeffer · 12/04/2019 22:53

Do you believe him?

TheBigFatMermaid · 12/04/2019 22:58

OK, so tell him if he is genuinely worried, he will seek medical help. Otherwise, you will continue to ignore it as though he hadn't mentioned it, in favour of self care.

I had my drama lama DP mention breathing problems a couple of weeks ago. I challenged him, Should I ring 111? Suddenly, it wasn't that bad. I was in the middle of a poorly episode that turned out to be sepsis.

A week in hospital, on IV antibiotics and operation, home now for a couple of days and DP is reasonably healthy, in spite of his life or death breathing problems 5 days before my admission to hospital which should maybe have been at least a week earlier, but I am not an attention seeking diva! )

Serin · 12/04/2019 23:01

Well the simple answer is that he goes to the GP and gets himself checked out.
Why do you feel so unsupportive towards him?

shitpark · 12/04/2019 23:03

My ex would always claim whatever ailment was affecting me, was also what he had. I had a 2nd trimester miscarriage which wiped me out and suddenly he was innexplicably exhausted. I had a still birth, and he was suffering with exhaustion. I had a c-section, and he needed rest. He just always had to be the centre of all attention. Is that how you mean OP?

EdithWeston · 12/04/2019 23:09

Why does he need to lay blame ?

Did you criticise him for not telling you sooner? Just as you're criticising him to us as a drama llama? It does seem a bit like he can't win.

But that's a side point - where is the tingling and is it one-sided? Does he have any other symptoms? Take the heat of your row away from this, and how worried is he?

If worried, try 111 or OOH. If not, suggest he books a GP appt, especially if symptoms have lasted over 3 weeks (or will have done by time appointment comes around)

TheCanyon · 12/04/2019 23:09

Thank you @ShowOfHands

No, I dont believe him.

OP posts:
TheCanyon · 12/04/2019 23:13

I KNOW hes beign dodgy

TraceyLP · 12/04/2019 23:13

Hi,
I would get him to take a good multi vit if he doesn’t already to ensure he is getting enough vits including B12 (ensure red meat also if not vegetarian). If he is vegetarian/vegan or suffers stomach problems b12 deficiency is more likely. He could also ask his doctor for tests to rule out deficiencies and diabetes before he even starts to think about anything progressive.

Confuzzlediddled · 12/04/2019 23:17

My exh always had to be iller than me, one memorable time was when I'd been in hospital having a colposcopy and biopsy, in the way back to the car afterwards I felt a bit faint, so he said he didn't feel great and was going to bed when we got home and so I'd have to look after our 2 year old twins and 10 Yr old... One of many reasons he's my ex...
