What film could you watch over and over again?

I tend to only ever watch a film once with the exception of Kill Bill (1&2!) and Wolf of Wall Street.
I love watching these because I feel like I see something new each time I watch them.

Anyhoo. Am laid up in bed for a few days so would like to hear your recommendations for films that you could watch time and time again, if you please!

The War Of The Roses. I always watch it if I am flicking through and it’s on. It’s tragic but so funny too.

Shaun Of The Dead

The Hangover and Hangover 2.

The most recent Wonder Woman. Love that movie.

HappyEverIftar · 14/04/2019 11:40

Ever after
Snatch
Any of the Ocean's films
Ratatouille
Pride & Prejudice

Bit of a mix!

Wayne’s World
Grease 2 (unintentionally hilarious)
Romeo & Juliet (Leo version - watched this at the cinema as a young teenager and thought it was the most romantic film ever, nostalgic whenever I watch it now)

HeyLala · 14/04/2019 18:19

Sorry you're laid up, OP.

Room With A View.
The Wicked Lady (B&W Margaret Lockwood version)
Koli (Bollywood with Amitabh Bachchan, you might find it somewhere with subtitles)
Bride and Prejudice (Bollywood crossover, it's in English)
The Brothers (B&W Scottish film, DH and I found it unintentionally hilarious, seen it twice and wish we could find it online).

Hope you find some gems, haven't RTFT but about to!

Steel Magnolias if I want a good cry out
Leap Year for a harmless rom com
Disney’s lilo & stitch never fails to cheer me up

There's a few, depending on mood:

Tombstone
The Shawshank redemption
Labyrinth
Pans Labyrinth
Goonies
Mamma Mia
I love you to death
Moonstruck

The Burbs - for any mood

So many more but can't recall

animaginativeusername · 15/04/2019 01:09

Just reading through the posts and Shawshank is a recurring favourite.

Would also like to add
Stardust
Princess Bride
Sleepless in Seattle
Mr and Mrs Smith,
Wanted
Penelope

Gaurdians of Galaxy
Black panther

Graeb · 15/04/2019 01:31

PrivateIsles · 15/04/2019 02:16

Loads. I'm always re-watching films.

Roman Holiday (Audrey's first major role, beautiful and timeless, and Gregory Peck being all tall, dark and handsome - what more do you need)
Saving Mr Banks
Sense and Sensibility
It's A Wonderful Life
The Shop Around the Corner
Legally Blonde
Indiana Jones (1 and 3 only)
LA Confidential
The Untouchables (agree with PP re Andy Garcia)
Muppets Christmas Carol Grin
Actually loads of Christmas films so I won't go on!
