How many fish fingers would you put in a sandwich?

And should I have ketchup or mayo? I have no tartare sauce

I need to put one of these on my bucket list.

In our house as children the answer was ‘depends on how many fish fingers there are in the freezer!’

DB used to cook a whole pack (sometimes in the microwave) mash with a fork and add a huge dollop of ketchup, smush up some more then force the resulting paste between 2 slices of bread!!

Four ideally. White bread, proper butter, mayo, thin layer of cheese, then plenty of garlic salt. Heaven.

Cheese eh? In a long life I've never tried that but now it's been mentioned . . .
