My 3 year old and I are locked in a battle, who will crack first? (lighthearted)

She won't tidy her toys until I make her a cup of tea

I won't make her a cup of tea until she tidies her toys as I know she still won't tidy her toys if I make them.

There isn't many toys to put away; a book, a doll and some cars.

This has been going on since Nursery finished at lunchtime. I occasionally get asked "you make me cup of tea now?" I say not until toys are away, she says no, and goes back to sitting on the sofa with the cat....

Who will crack first?

He rolled his eyes and pointed to pombears, crisps, mini-cheddars

Grin love his style

She does usually tidy her toys up, and it was only a few things so I didn't really mind that she didn't.

This is not filling me with hope after me and DH stared at each other with exasperation as our 16 month threw the biggest tantrum because we wouldn't let her lick the toilet brush. It's going to get harder, isn't it 😱

I don't know why but I read all her lines in a Russian accent!

No way on Earth I'd crack. In the OP's case, not enough toys to irritate me.
Thrown toys -->No tea. A full dot. Angry

For those who enjoyed this, we went for a walk this morning.

We had a 25 minute stand off in the middle of the town centre about walking half a mile home. She was giving it her all "I'm only little mummy" "I don't like walking" even threw her toys down in protest and sat on the floor.

We compromised, I carried her to the grassed area 1/4 of a mile home and then she walked the rest of the way....

🤣

OP my mum always tell the story of me taking my babies for a walk to the shop full of promises that I'd push the twin buggy there & back... until halfway back when I stopped, asked her to push them home & pulled out this gem when she said no they were my babies... "but you're their granny"

She pushed them the rest of the way
