Does any woman ever actually want to see a dick pic?

I really don't get why men sent dick pics unless they're just being abusive bastard who wants to impose himself on a woman and upset her? But I see evidence online that there are guys who still think a woman might be pleased by one and not totally put off.

Does any woman ever ask to see one? Do blokes think women will be flattered that he has a hard-on for her or something?

Be interested to know if anyone has actually asked, has been pleased by one? Cos for the life of me I can't see why! Confused

I've been single for 3 years now I have never been on a date let alone done internet dating so have never recieved one. It would completely put me off a person if they sent me one though but think that's more to do with not liking sex than anything else.

I think unsolicited it sounds like quite an agressive thing to do. How is it any different than flashing someone in the street.

FizzyGreenWater · 08/04/2019 17:38

Never had one, would not like it one bit if I did.

I also find it quite weird though as without exception they look ridiculous surely? I can understand that if it's your partner and has context then you can kind of put a face/atmosphere/personality to the picture but if it's someone you don't know-?! They look so foolish. All exposed and absurd. I can't even really see dick pics as having the potential for coming across as aggressive for this reason - although of course, they absolutely can be. But I just look and think oh god how embarrassing for you! and of course BLEURGH

MenuPlant · 08/04/2019 17:41

I was horrified discussing this with friends who are in the dating game, a couple of years back, to find out these dick pics are commonly FLACCID.

I had been going ab.out my business assuming that it would be a pic of a big erection

Who wants to see a flaccid penis? WTAF? I was genuinely completely and utterly baffled.

And yes unsolicited is no different to flashing and should be treated the same. Well I suppose that means nothing happens to them but YKWIM!

BoogieFeet · 08/04/2019 17:44

Ick. Just no. Have always assumed only abusive/immature idiots would send these, similar to the scum who harass women on the street..bleuh

lordofthefries · 08/04/2019 17:48

If I was single and being sent them randomly I’d hate it, but I don’t mind if DH does it. I definitely have to be in the mood though

TotalNoob · 08/04/2019 17:49

I'd rather see a pic of his dog/cat tbh.

Grin

I bloody LOVE if it dh sends me a pic of our cat when I’m not at home Blush

Sparklingbrook · 08/04/2019 17:50

What are you supposed to do upon receiving one? What's the etiquette here? Do you say 'thank you for the amazing photo of your penis?' Confused

I have never received one thank goodness. Bleurgh. It would put me right of any man that did it.

Perhaps it makes some insecure people feel wanted or something? Not sure.

TeaForTheWin · 08/04/2019 17:50

Nope. Bare chest pick maybe but not a dick pick. I mean they aren't pleasant to look at xD

Sparklingbrook · 08/04/2019 17:51

I have actually had a chat with my two DSs about never, ever sending one to anybody or having stuff like this on phones. I think they were a bit offended I thought they might!

TotalNoob · 08/04/2019 17:51

My phone would feel soiled tbh.

percheron67 · 08/04/2019 17:52

I worked with a woman who kept a picture of her lover's dick in her desk drawer. She said it couldn't be left at home in case here husband found it!

Sparklingbrook · 08/04/2019 17:53

She should have framed it and put it on her desk percheron, and let everyone get the 'enjoyment' from it. Grin

MondeoFan · 08/04/2019 17:54

No and every time I've been sent one it hasn't been asked for and I was taken aback at the time as so unexpected.
It's normally for OLD sites and we've only sent say 3 texts back and forth such as whereabouts do you live and what do you do for work then bam the very next message is a dick! Gross and uncalled for

HelenaDove · 08/04/2019 17:57

Ugh. Seems that the age of the gentleman is dead.

TeaForTheWin · 08/04/2019 18:10

If it ever existed. I think we are constantly trying to convince ourselves that men were once more gentlemanly than they are now...but I doubt it. They were probably just less obvious about it. I bet in the 1800's it was common practice to wait till it got dark to go banging on the window of the door the lass they were courting, giving it 'Haw! Hen! Want to see ma willy?!' xD

Sparklingbrook · 08/04/2019 18:13

I suppose in the 80s they would have had to take the picture, finish the film, take it to Boots for their 'in an hour' service and send it to the 'lucky' recipient first class. Grin

Snowy111 · 08/04/2019 18:14

Comedy value only - surely Hmm

DontdoitDoris · 08/04/2019 18:19

Mother
Id rather see a pic of his dog/cat tbh

You really made my day Grin
Im so with you !

hugoagogo · 08/04/2019 18:20

I am baffled by the concept.

LimpidPools · 08/04/2019 18:21

Flaccid?! Is this true?

Good grief.

PortiaCastis · 08/04/2019 18:21

I've only had one dick pic and that wasn't very impressive as it was like a strangled chantaney, the joys of online dating when divorced leave a lot to be desired I think.

DragonMamma · 08/04/2019 18:21

I never used to mind one (when asked for!). At least you know what you’re getting...

TeaForTheWin · 08/04/2019 18:22

Sparklingbrook

I wonder if the people developing all those picture in the 80s kept private copies for themselves xD Maybe a wall of dickpicks in their breakroom xD

LeekMunchingSheepShagger · 08/04/2019 18:22

They're not exactly aesthetically pleasing are they? Quite comical if you think about it.

DragonMamma · 08/04/2019 18:22

it was like a strangled chantaney
