If she’s not thinking about him, why is she singing to his poor wife that he begged to stay when she dumped him?

I always assumed she was expressing surprise at his dancing as he's so clumsy. Although you're right, two left feet usually means can't dance.

I like a bit of Ed but these lines always bug me
