Cornwall...just gorgeous!
Isle of Wight
Devon and Dorset
Wales
Cotswolds
Lake district
Scottish highlands and islands

there's so many beautiful places to explore!

Cornwall and Devon seem popular.

Yorkshire - coast and inland
Lake District
We've also done city breaks to Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Leicester (space museum).

Yorkshire and the Lake District. We’re going to try North Wales next.

Love west Cornwall. Has never been as a child unlike half the uk because my dad is from the west of Ireland so always went there. Went after being drawn by the descriptions in a Patrick gale novel and loved it. Similar to west coast of Ireland but with more people, shopping and rainy day options. Rented holiday cottages.

Have also been to north Norfolk which is nice but bleak if it’s windy and takes an age to drive to from anywhere due to slow single carriage roads. Again random holiday cottages.

Quite like a few days in London or a weekend in a city e.g. Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle. Tend to stay in a chain hotel for these.

Usually South Wales (Gower) or Devon. We live near the M5 for Devon and go A roads to Wales.

We staying in holiday cottages as DH refuses to camp.

I've looked into owning a static caravan but can't afford the outlay to buy one and the fees can be steep- and I don't want to let it out as I want it to be available whenever I want and have out stuff in etc. I'd let family and some friends use it though.

Norfolk

Hired caravan

Llandudno
Scarborough
Skegness / Ingoldmells
Blackpool.

There's something about Scarborough - when there, particularly when the sun is shining, it just feels like a holiday.

We have just got back from thornwick bay - it is now my favourite haven site.

Beautiful site and location
