I'm just waiting for our diy pizzas to finish cooking. Dd1's request after making (assembling) pizza at school a couple of weeks ago.

I've got french fries to fry, to go with them, coleslaw and jalepenõs

What about you lot?

We have been out all day and had a huge lunch... the kids have had scrambled egg but me and DH have a Camembert in the fridge for later. Veg crisps to dip for me and tiger loaf for him. Yummmmmm

Jacket spuds with a choice of tuna mayo, coleslaw, beans or cheese and a nice big salad to go with.

chickpea, butternut squash and apricot tagine, couscous and pitta bread ( we had pizza last night)

Homemade beef brisket chilli con carne, all the trimmings and a stiff Margarita on the side.

homemade chicken chow mein and (not homemade) spring rolls

Steak, roasted veggies and salad.
My first hangover in over a year has just properly hit and I'm dying.

Homemade Salt Beef Bagels, complete with gherkins and English mustard. YUM!

We had Tim Kerridge's beef biryani and it was beautiful. Lots left over.

Chicken wings with Nando’s garlic marinade, curly fries, coleslaw and guacamole. Not the healthiest but one of my favourite Saturday meals

Gin and tonic with lots of ice.

Oh and salmon fillet, popped in a foil parcel. Mixed some butter, garlic(lots of it) and chopped parsley together, popped a dollop on top of the salmon with asparagus, tender broccoli and buttery new potatoes.

But gin and tonic, right?

As a starter Purple sprouting broccoli from the allotment, 'tis absolutely delicious with salted butter.

M&S cheese and onion quiche, GF for me,
jacket potato and baked sweet potato
Chopped salad of little gem,tomatoes, jibbons, red pepper and grated carrot

Earth Hour is observed here so we will be dining by candlelight though my cellulitis is playing up so eating on the sofa with my leg elevated.

Not elegant and not fun and Mam is spinning for sure!

Tandoori chicken thighs with salad and flatbread, absolutely amazing

DD 16 has just decided she's going to be a vegan so she had quote spicy burgers with the salad and flatbread

DS13 has had pizza
DS 3 had vegetable fingers with garlic bread

Still hungry so might make myself a cheese and onion toastie

Meatballs and orzo with roasted vegetables and leeks. DS1 had the meatballs with carrots, cheese and fusilli. DS2 only really ate fruit.

Noodles with stir fry vegetables and Chinese style pork with hot-sin sauce, followed by baked egg custard.

I had tuna steak covered in black pepper and chilli flakes served with brown spaghetti, broccoli and red pepper that was finished off in the tuna pan so got the fried chilli tossed through 👍🏻

Katsu curry, it’s one of the meals everybody in the family can eat (will eat)

We had chicken katsu curry too! Everyone loves it here.
Not everyone was so sure about the accompanying aubergine with sesame ponzu sauce but I thought it was delicious.

Tuc crackers with this yummy smoked salmon dip/paste thing that I brought back from Budapest today, it's delicious 😋

Fajitas here too- DD's fave. We ate at 5pm though and now reading all these lovely posts is making me hungry again!

Dh has just started cooking so it could be some time. But the plan is smoked salmon lasagne
