I'm just waiting for our diy pizzas to finish cooking. Dd1's request after making (assembling) pizza at school a couple of weeks ago.

I've got french fries to fry, to go with them, coleslaw and jalepenõs

What about you lot?

Beans on toast as our oven died.

Ds eating his cheesy pasta with ham and peas and I’m waiting for mine and dh’s jackets to finish cooking (they were bigger than expected so are taking longer than usual - we would normally eat together) we are having them with salad and peppered flat iron steaks from Aldi.

Pork tenderloin, peppercorn sauce, roast potatoes, stir fried leeks and savoy cabbage with a bit of cream and nutmeg, peas.

Chicken with a choizo and pepper sauce with grilled tomatoes and pepper, chips and onion rings

DH is making his ‘special’ fried chicken, which is one of the few delicious things he can actually make. I’m starving and trying to get him to start on it now .

Burgers with sweet potato fries and corn on the cob, easy Saturday night dinner. We have about 5 or 6 that we rotate for Saturday night.

We were meant to be having slow cooker lamb casserole....but turns out I’m a dickhead who forgot to turn it on before we left the house this morning
So I guess we are having Chinese instead!

Managed to rustle together a random “whatever’s in the freezer” dinner for the DCs - couple of nuggets, a fish finger each, a random mix of potato products and some beans Need to go food shopping tomorrow!

sausages (pork and quorn), mash, yorkshire puddings, carrots, and either peas or green beans.

We went on a long walk in the coubtryside today so are feeling hungry.

Leftover vegetable curry, oh the excitement. I'm adding more chilli so there may be raita.

Been out all day so DC's are having left over picnic as a carpet picnic and I can't decide what I fancy.

House guest is currently making us some delicious looking homemade burgers and chips followed by chocolate cheesecake :) I don't usually let guests cook but he is single so doesn't tend to cook for just him but loves cooking so asked if he could :)

Feeling lousy and drained so a lazy crap dinner I’m afraid.

Probably a midnight Dominos. I've spent the last 2 months staying with my parents, and have only returned home today. We have no food in, I'm going to a family party this evening, and I'm feeling too sad to cook for just the two of us, where once there were three. So I will probably go for pizza delivery

I’ve worked my bum off so have just sat down with a beer and trying to decide between pizza or Chinese.

Chinese is a bit of a faff - multiple trays and assembly required. Positive - lots to keep me interested.

Takeaway pizza isn’t real pizza, the Italian type. Can get dull. Positive - no fuss, no cutlery, no washing up.

So tough.

DIY pizzas for the kids. It’s frozen dough, I’m not special. They bloody love it. Beef & sweet potato massaman for the grown ups, with a wine starter.
